Re: Guru songs
Yeah, you should never get a good on isolated single arrows, even if they make no sense rhythmically. Work on that by playing easy, badly-stepped songs (like Synth files lol).

Re: Guru songs
I tried it again and i can get perfects on the first easy arrows, I feel like i'm wasting time practising easier songs and i feel it doesn't help me increase skill in reading harder patterns which i want to focus on at the moment.

Re: Guru songs
Like this? =]
But for an amateur, you are fairly average. Get to the point where you can get a cleaner pass, or a more impressive combo to be above par. EDIT: On another note, -11-, you are fairly decent for an amateur, but like mentioned before you have to practice what you have trouble with. Like TK_Unreal said, I would agree that you have to work on PA and pattern reading, just hitting the arrows doesn't get you as far. If you can consistently PA a song, the combo will come easily with time as well.

Re: Guru songs
Reluctantly Accepting Temporary Overexaustion, Death Piano, then Eclipse (Solar).
Unless you include Vertex BETA vRofl, but that is not a public song, it is a token.

Re: Guru songs
My friend's brother, who's 8 years old, can pass eclipse mashing too. :P He's actually a very talented piano player, and very skilled at FFR...for an 8 year old. I was able to mash pass almost any song before the fix when I first started..on index. Lol.

Re: Guru songs
Sorry to break it to you but pass mashing hard songs on FFR doesn't mean anything. Anyone can do it, with practically no learning curve. Why don't your super talented friend pass same song on Step mania. If he does; then we'll talk.

Re: Guru songs
I find Almost There harder than Eclipse (solar).
I can FC Eclipse with no boos, while I still have to mash Almost There. |

E: I find Almost There harder too because of the wall that switches between streaming and trilling. Eclipse Solar has a couple of jacks but all in isolated, easier parts and they're not parts of trills. I'd also put Revolutionary Etude in there, which is a complete pain to read, jack and mash.
