Haha, do people do that Maya's House one often? I was witness to one exactly like that a little while back, in Khaini as well. o.O Chances seem small that it was the same one, but you always wonder.

I asked my friend where he was, and he said Maya's House and that it was hilarious. And "DON'T GO IN THERE." He didn't say why, but I was curious so I went in anyway. XD Luckily I came out fine thanks to quick reflexes, but I went back in afterwards with MG on to rofl. It was pretty funny seeing so many dead and angry/terrified noobs. XD

Umm... Does fa work with 3rd job skills as a wk? If it doesn't, you are wasting your time with fa. That is why most archers don't max fa, because it is a waste of 30 points that could have been put into other skills. I mean, you have leveled fine up to this point without it, I don't see a point in putting points into a skill that you will only use for 15 more levels or so. Not sure if warriors are the same as archers in this sense so if I'm wrong, tell me. =)

I think power strike and slash blast are the ONLY things that work with FA, so your class as a warrior does not determine FA's usefulness. I personally like the idea of getting an extra power strike here and there for no MP cost (even though that's kind of a joke because you can't really look at FA as an MP pot saver). If I didn't get FA though, what else would I master? 1st job idling skills, but then what -_- Iron Body would still be a waste.

Besides, FA looks cool and seems like it would make training funner (but I've never used it so I can't really say that).

Plus, im talking about getting right of all the points in that skill that raises your weap def, I find it completely useless =\

Actually, if I can get my thief into the guild my page is in, then I'll think about quitting my warrior, and putting whatever money I get from selling all of the stuff on my warrior to my thief, thus funding it =P

I had been thinking you had put the SP into idling skills. You put them into iron body. Even worse. Ugh.

As Bandit once said (like 80 pages back or something), "your characters to fck up, not mine". Don't come crying to us when you're level whatever and your HP is drastically low. Seriously, just take my advice and quit your warrior now. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason for you to continue, it can't be fixed.

PPS: I'm gonna quit that warrior anyway probably... I get so worked up on my thief that I never have time to lvl up my warrior...

The problem is, even resetting them will not make up for lost ground. You'll always be like 1,500 ~ 2,000 HP behind.

Guys, there's some level 7X or 8X (3rd job warrior class) who didn't get points in Max HP. I mean he only has like 2K-2.5K HP, but he's satisfied with it. Besides, he's just using this character to help fund his sin when he makes it.

I was bored so read some stuff on sleepywood. This thread made me VERY happy to be a page. I used to be one of those bandwagon people that are like ZOMG DK IS DA BEST ALL THOSE COOL SKILLZ but this thread really brings it into reality. Dragon Knights are an extremely average class. It even says that WKs and Crusaders can much more easily train in ludi earlier because of power guard and threaten for pages; spearmen don't get any good defense skills (iron will sucks balls), which means they take LOTS more damage than WKs and crusaders and they take full knockback (yes powerguard reduces knockback apparently ;D). Plus to compensate for their immense HP loss, they are pretty much dependent on priests. And they're terrible money makers (for 2nd job definitely, 3rd job I dunno but seems like it would take alot of pots).

ckj, the only warriors that get new attacks in 3rd job are Dragon Knights. Crusaders and White Knights still use their 1st job skills (Power Strike and Slash Blast) but have new skills in addition that stack. Combo just increases the power of all attacks, so their PS and SB are strong, and WKs' elemental charges make those same old moves have a slight power booster + elemental advantage. DKs tend to not get FA, but instead master both polearms and spears so they can use both the swinging and the stabbing skills (damage is lowered quite a bit when a spear swings or when a polearm stabs) and just switch weapons to increase their effectiveness.

And Bahamut, that's why some of us encouraged you to be a WK. Crusaders and (especially) DKs are overplayed and don't do as much damage at higher levels (well, Crusaders always have their huge damage strikes, but WKs have consistently huge damage rather than one big hit). Plus, Threaten is really cool looking. Although, we could use a spearman in our guild for a HB buddy, but I'm working on getting Allanae caught up (she hit 36 last night and finally got mastery to 19 -__-), so that's not a huge issue. It won't be hard to find random DKs to party with anyway.

But yeah, I think everybody wishes they could be another class at some point in their MS career. Until I got explosion I wish I had gone Ice/Lit so I could have a mob attack. Jason probably doesn't like to admit it, but I'm sure he wishes he had things like Puppet and Mortal Blow. Thing is, if you just stick with your class, they're all good in the long run. The important thing is that you have fun with your character and with your MS friends.

That last thing is why I've been focusing less on leveling and more on screwing around and having fun. Funny thing is, I've been playing more because of it (I don't get bored nearly as fast, haha) so I've been getting more % than Chris when we normally have the same exp gain. XD

Um.

DKs party with priests.

Therefore, huge exp and never having to worry about HP. Damage taken is irrelevent when a priest is spamming heal.

Thing is, if you just stick with your class, they're all good in the long run.

Actually, priests become dependent on others, and that's not good. I'd like to be able to get decent experience if I want without partying, even though right now I'd prefer partying over soloing always. It's just a restriction that kinda sucks. Not so much that I don't want to party, it's just the loss of freedom.

Chris, read the first page of that where they talk about how the priest argument isn't completely solid. Basically, DKs are ONLY good when with a priest, and when in the 6-man parties that Jason gets in where you get TONS of exp, DKs can't hog the priest cuz they have to go up and down giving HS. DKs do get elemental resist, though, but since they're in the monsters' faces stabbing them it doesn't help as much as with Clerics.
