On my SM it just sets everything to 1x on Novice with the lame stoplight **** in the BG

How do I fix this?

Whenever I play ANY song on Novice mode, it plays with the stoplight tutorial crap in the BG with everything on 1x

Do you use stepmania 3.9? I don't have that problem on 3.9
