I am surprised more people have not taken advantage of Round 1 -- there are 12 people that did Round 2 but not Round 1, and maybe only 4 that did Round 1 but not Round 2

round 1 is hit or miss.... some people just can't meet the req.

Yeah, Round 1 is much harder for me. I still can't do rounds 5 or 6, but it's very slowly getting there.

Also, I'll be staying up late for the mental challenge, but I don't expect that it'll be something I can easily do in half an hour.

Just giving you all a heads up, I might have to post the mental challenge round sooner because I am going to dinner with my girlfriend and her mother who just flew in from HK, but I can't say for sure yet what time that will be. If I am not here I could prob get an admin to edit my post at 6:30 with the necessary updates. I'll probably choose the point allocations for the round after people start submitting answers because I have no idea how quickly people will solve it, so whoever submits first will probably set the curve at a few thousand points.

I just started learning, and I can get it down to like 3 minutes... not very fast, I'm sure, but better than my old average of 4 days

fastest solve is a minute and 30... I've never solved for speed though. Also, my average rank is 1.5?

I don't think I would require one to solve a cube.

Kekeb: 1.5 because Truthfull put you in Rank 2 for Round 2

If the Round must be started early, please don't start it with an arbitrary time like 4:17 or something.

If I were to post it early, I'd probably post it within the next hour or so, or I might grade it differently, by time intervals rather than constant time.

I wouldn't mind this, I can average about 55 seconds per cube solve, and that's with me starting and stopping the time on a stopwatch.

If you are going to post the next round early, you should post about an hour before you do saying that you're going to do it in an hour, so people that care can be there when it starts.

The next round will be up in an hour. It *will* be a challenge that will probably take you a long time. Probably multiple sittings unless you're very observant. I'll decide point values once I start getting answers.
