Re: FFR Scores
ok fine, exploit. let's completely change the overall structure of a chart because we suck at it and are desperate for a rank improvement hurrrrrrrrrrrrrr
At least mirror doesn't completely change all of the patterns, a stair is a stair, a ladder is a ladder, runningmen anchored on outermost finger of one hand stays on the outermost finger of another, etc. but hey, everyone can just BS their way to the top. maybe I should play all of the stupid songs on left to AAA them too, instead of earning my score, yep |

Re: FFR Scores
No, I haven't. I don't plan on cheating my way to AAAs either. Not once have I used left or right on a song that I haven't AAA'd. It's complete crap that people are going to pull Oni unlocks on something like Blooddrunk or BB Revenge because they can stream but can't one-handed trill.

I also think you guys should take OWA's thinking into account when playing this game. Is all you care about in this game average rank? You earn the pot of gold (this could be average rank in the 1.x range, or 700+ AAA's, etc) by your efforts, not by exploiting something that makes it easier to achieve. What matters more is the effort in trying, even if you don't succeed (this is why I don't mind if Rubix beats my RATO score, but only if he actually has to work hard for it. He breezed through all those AAA's and that's not really much effort). |

Re: FFR Scores
I am not going to touch RATO only because that song genuinely hurts more than most of the other songs on this site. You can have that one.

Re: FFR Scores
Well my point is that RATO and death piano exist because they provide a challenge if you can't AAA them like all the other files. I do have to admit though, AAA'ing all those other public songs is a very impressive feat, but getting average rank 1 on the dot shouldn't be that easy.
Good-attack score I got earlier today |

Re: FFR Scores
It's not easy to get AvRank 1.0. Many of those songs are freaking retarded to AAA. The other half of the challenge is mustering up enough patience to shell through all the long/easy ****.

Re: FFR Scores
Well obviously it's not "easy", but when you get an AAA, nobody can beat you, they can only tie you. With a couple files you can't AAA, it gives others a chance to compete against you. I'm personally for another 13 to get into this game just to see how the rest of the community does and if Halogen and I can score around the same, but not to destroy your rank (of course, when the batch reopens).

In every game there will always eventually be a way found to make it to be done easier. Just how it works with games.

Think of fines - the purpose of them is to prevent you from doing something. When you break a rule that is punishable by a fine (such as speeding), you need to pay the fine and you get a warning. If it becomes chronic, you get into more trouble. People do speed all the time though - they just don't get caught. And shadow nice Frictional Nevada AAA damn |
