SR is WAY stronger than heal when hitting more enemies (hello, can't even hit 6 with heal) and is more consistent than heal. SR flat out owns and motivates me to play more. If I had gone dispel 1 at 70, I'd be playing so little that it'd probably take me a week or more to get to 71.

And uh-oh... 1 less in HS. Guess what? Having door'd back quicker, you'll gain more experience than having that 1 point into HS.

I won't. You would. I have 0 reason to use door, and people I'm partying with have very little reason for me to use it as well.

And at what Squeek said: Return scroll and reclimbing down would only expose them to:
pandas and weak **** like that

1~2 maps of monsters which can easily be circumvented by jumping to the bottom and only potting once or twice before getting to the teleporter.

So basically a little bit of time is lost (doesn't take long to come down toy factory) and a few pots (healing from damage taken from those big things down in warped time area). Not a big deal at all, especially because I won't even be really partying until HS is high enough anyway.

And yeah, like I said, I'll probably put 1 in door around 80 when I'll actually really be partying because HS will actually be high enough to party.

Really, it's not like I'm waiting until like 90 to get door. I'll just be waiting until it'll even be feasible to use it at all.

PPS I died (not used to fighting non-undeads), but since the exp is still higher than it was when Squeek gave others access, I don't see it as a real problem.

He is still going to put a point into the skill. I think just skipping that one point in door is a good idea. If he finds that he constantly wants to have the skill, the next level all he has to do is put the point in. Its that simple..

STRAFE LEVEL 1 OWNS! That is all I can say. It is so much faster then Double shot or Arrow blow and paired with booster.. *drools. Its like having a viper with booster all the time.. And the damage is much more stable then double shot (not really saying much though).

The best skill for a 30 cleric is MP eater. Heal at level 1 is useless.

Although, they could go for teleport if they have trouble catching boats or something. I'd die if I had to try to catch a boat while running late and I couldn't use tele.

Also, similar idea for fire mages. Getting 1 in FA at 30 won't even let the person have max FA any levels earlier. Same idea with heal, as well.

Old news.

The bad part isn't that graph. It's that exp gain is linear while exp needed to level is exponential.

And as for that patch:
they're just removing the Easter event. Maybe some minor item additions. Better not be Summer time drops because I just spent nearly 2 mil on an emergency tube.

I wish exp to level was linear. That'd make things a lot easier. You'd level faster as you got higher levels.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that thinks that 10 hours to level being relatively fast is really lame.

Afro, I can't believe I didn't quit when I did the math on the kMS Test Server EXP gain.

Let's see. It's about 2 million for you guys to level at 70 right?

From level 70 to 80 there, it's 50x EXP. Let's say you're at Zombies. You can kill on average 5 per respawn (10 seconds), so you nail 30 in a minute. That's 190 x 30, or 5,700 EXP per minute. But wait it's 50x, so 285,000 EXP.

Already you're over 10%.

One level in under 10 minutes.

Youtube is still being slow and not "authorizing" my vid. I'll see if it is done in the morning. All I did was put some music on. Lazy me... Well, Strafe made me super poor because of all the mp pots I used as I spammed it around the map. Trained at ynp for about an hour with a hermit friend, then headed over to lusters. I think I'm at 16% before I got dced from the patch. Not bad...

1) rofl lag, it wasn't like that while you played right? Just a bad record? =\
2) I forget how fast I beat my job advance guy. It was like 90 seconds or something. If you had used arrow blow (you did for a little bit at one point...) and KBed her into a corner it would've been easier, I bet. Not like it matters now though, since you won't be fighting her again ever. But yeah, I KBed whatshisname into a corner and just kept wailing on him. If he hadn't summoned tauros I coulda killed him in less than a minute. XD
3) People are back from break so my internet is super lagtastic again. I will not play nearly as much now that I am neither rushing towards 3rd job nor being graced with a ridiculously fast and stable connection. I will play, but if it lags me out a ton I will sign off and not play.
4) Out of school in less than a month (at least I think so...?) = back home soon = better connection there + no school - job = tons of free time and no DCing randomly = level 100 before next semester

It didn't lag at all while I was fighting her. The thing is, I was thiking about what everyone would say if they saw me using arrow blow the whole time and it would be a lot more boring to watch. Just me standing there holding down a button and Athena doing nothing... Boring... At least when I used Double Shot, I actually jumped around and almost died (Maci). I need a better vid taking program..
