If you even think of insulting me of "lack of experience", I'll simply say(and show if it comes to that) that I have many, many characters of decent levels. I also have a completely different playing style than most people, so you'll have to deal with that. So what if I don't like staying on one class? I like to have fun, that's what the game's for. I've played EVERY class except Crossbowman and 3rd job classes. I played Squeek's xbow, but that doesn't count.

"Experience" is nothing on MS, there shouldn't even be a term for it. When I was training with xSakura(120 DK) at Ludi, I'd have to say it wasn't even slightly more different than training at the slime tree with a sin today on my level 10 warrior in relation to difficulty. In fact, it was much easier, because I could just hold down heal and know I wouldn't die, ever(from things that 2 hit kill me, meaning Vikings and beyond). I also gained that 12% in an hour and a half, so where I train is working perfectly fine in relation to what you guys think is "required" in EXP gain per hour at that level.

Squeek, remember when you quizzed me on MS a LONG time ago? Remember how much I knew then? I can say I haven't forgotten anything at the very least.

I've been playing since early beta, I just haven't picked a class I like, so I have fun playing all of them. Do you guys really want me to add you on every character I play? I'd hope not, because it'd be 5 characters on Bera.

Apparently some people forgot I've been playing forever just because put fake information on my first account, so it didn't transfer over, then I started trying all the classes.

Banditcom, if my account transfered over, and I stuck with one class, I know I'd be level 9X by now on my warrior at least, considering we have Ludi and priests. He was right at the point where levelling was going to be easier.

More thoughts on Squeak: Why the hell did you guys die? With the HP suit on holding down Heal it's practically impossible to die. Any of you who have a magician should know to activate MG if you're unsure at all. I guess the people who have never had a mage have an excuse, but come on. I figured I might die judging from how often everybody else did, but I fooled around on those weird teddies (the ones Squeak said he solos on) and didn't die at all. =\

Oh, and I think Explosion has the same range as Heal right now. Heal is just WAY the hell faster. Also, I didn't realize Dispel killed enemy buffs. I thought you need Magic/Power/Armor Crash from warriors to do that. All the FAQs about Zakum say that warriors need those skills maxed to even think about Zakum, but if a Priest can do it (and who the hell isn't gonna have a Priest at Zakum? 50% more exp from THAT thing...gotta have it) then what's the point? XD

rofl, but one thing: "Experience" counts for a lot more than you give it credit. Training for a cleric at high levels (when they have HB on them) is going to be easy, of course (why do you think Squeek is quitting, rofl), but compare early training to doing what banditcom is doing or tele-dodging around lycans/WWs and not taking any damage and you'll see that some things in this game do take some amount of skill. It's not completely user ability, though, it takes time to get used to what a character is capable of with its current set of skills. Like me and Jason were discussing earlier, when we got higher level teleport and flash jump it threw us off for a little while cuz of the difference in distance. Go watch Jason FJing around at Vikings. He can land on tiny little platforms with ease while going ridiculous speeds with FJ. I know I couldn't just hop on his sin and be able to do that right away. When I was playing Squeak earlier it took me some time to get used to being a cleric. It would have taken much longer if half his skills weren't they same as my fire mage's.

But seriously, why are you fussing at people? Jason only said something cuz you were claiming he whined about money when he didn't at all. ckj is right about you abusing the access to Squeak (he made it clear why the account was made semi-public access, and I suspect that him withdrawing public access is due in part (at least) to you farming money with his character) and you should realize that. Also, nobody mentioned your "lack of experience" or whatever the hell you're fussing about. All this pre-emptive defense is kinda sad, cuz nobody is really attacking you about this stuff. =\

Oh, and finally, nobody cares what you "could" have done or what level you "could" be. Under some circumstances a lot of us could be very different. If I didn't get as bored with MS and never got Guild Wars and never bothered making other characters and never introduced Adele to MS (and therefore never wasted time helping her characters) and had less of a social life and was more motivated by the other fizards in the guild and happened to have gotten easier classes these past 2 semesters, I could be over level 100 with ease on my fire mage. Does anybody give a rat's ass? No, because I'm NOT over level 100 on my fire mage. I know you've put in enough time to this game to have 2-3 3rd job characters (especially if 2 of them were a sin and a cleric), and I don't quite understand why you can't make it past ~50 with anything. Trust me, getting to 3rd job with one character is more satisfying than getting to 2nd job with 100 characters. You should try it sometime.

PS: 45% on YingYangTwin. Needing over 2m exp to level sucks, but I get about .85% every 5 minutes at Pangs as opposed to about .75% last level. The 10 int boost from leveling + job advance has really helped the 2hk'ing. Amp next level will pretty much make 2hks constant, so I'll prolly move back to Jetis. =\

There's a reason I quit Tosh. You've found it. It sure is easy to level. All I have to do is move around holding down Heal and sometimes recast Holy Symbol. That is all. Imagine how much fun I have doing that. Multiply that by what I've been doing since level 75 or so.

It. Sucks.

And for what? Yes, it is relatively fast experience. BUT FOR WHAT?! I can't do anything else in the game.

Oh, and when I change the password, it will go back to how it was before, meaning only my friends in reality will have access to this account. I'm giving you all a 2-week opportunity here, so take it while you can.

I don't see why people are so surprised that Squeek quit - there's nothing else he can really aspire towards. There's no fourth job, there's little to no better equips, the skills are only going to make him more useful to other people, and the work he'd put out to get stronger isn't worth it. I'd quit, too. Fortunately, I picked a class that has hopes, and really cool skills, and the capability to be fun for a very long time. If I could only get access to the game back in my house. -.-

Also, Tosh, when someone gives you an opportunity to see what it's like to be third job and a different class, why would you make money with it? Not only is it taking advantage, it's whoring it when you're sharing with eight other people. Not cool.

As long as they're people I know. Which is why I'm really mad no one from FFR is a higher level Spearman.

Btw, the cleric was only sort of boring to me. As I said to your buddies, there's something about almost dying every time an enemy hits me while training that makes it exciting. Judging by one of your bud's reactions ("I have a feeling you're not Squeak...") I suppose you don't get a thrill out of that. Speaking of your buddy list, one guy signed on and saw your name on his list and was like "OMG SQUEAK! *POUNCES AND SNUGGLES*" Seems like they miss you. =(

Oh and Afro, it'll be easy to make a spearman friend. The first warrior I saw as I was going through the clocktower (some Crusader dude) asked if I wanted to party. That's never happened to me ever on my fire mage, and it happened right away AT TWO THIRTY IN THE MORNING as a cleric. I expect it'll be easy to find a spearman.

Random question that I didn't have a chance to try: What exactly are the conditions on making HS have the full 150% boost? Could you, for example, party with some level 10 guys that can't leech and get the full 150% exp yourself as long as they're on the map, or do your party members have to leech for them to affect the exp boost?

Heal seems to have Explosion's level 1 range. Also, I'm almost certain Ice Strike has a higher range (at least vertically) than Explosion. The SR range seems about right. I was standing right under some teddies (if I had jumped I would have hit them instantly) and couldn't SR them. =\

(and for the record, making 2m on Squeak isn't hard. I think I made at least 100k just screwing around at teddies, probably more. I just remember he was at 2 million something when I got on and was at 3m when I got off. For any of you lower level people that are worried about money, take that as a sign that making money at higher levels is easy as hell)

PS: Squeek, you'll be back for Zakum and to explore Aqua Road and our version-specific area(s), right? Don't lie, just about everybody who quits comes back for new stuff. =P

Yeah, that 2M I got was in the hour and a half spent getting the 12%. You guys need to stop complaining.

@Squeek yeah, it was kinda boring to hold down heal and recast the three buffs everytime I got on a rope. However, the EXP was pretty fast. It was just boringly easy. At first it's scary because you die in two hits, then after like 10 minutes you notice that you can jump into a crowd of like 20 Vikings, hold down the heal key, and watch TV while your spearman friend kills them all for you. You don't even need to use magic guard, ever.

@EB I made friends with a couple of Squeek's friends, and they expect me to be on for some reason. CutieVagdevi is really fun to talk to, but she's 11 :/ However, a LOT of them miss Squeek. The only people I really talk to are Lumiere, CutieVagdevi, DarkSplicer, and Tmac.

@ckj Hardly anyone plays the account anyway. I've NEVER logged on to the account and had someone be online out of all 8 people.

@EB I think that it is 150% of the EXP gained with 2(or 3?) or more people in the party. That means if you're with 3 people and you get 100EXP, then that bumps up to 150EXP. However, if you killed it alone, you'd probably get like 160-175EXP.

Well I know you need 3 people to get the full 150% (it's 110% if you do it just by yourself, prolly 125% with just 1 other), but I don't know if MS cares whether those other 2 people are leeching any of it. I know you don't get the full boost if your party members aren't on the map, but I don't know about if they are on the map but just really low levels.

The reason I ask: When me and Chris are partying a lot in Ludi, it may end up that it's just us 2, so we may only get part of the 150% exp boost. I could, however, sign into Andrew's computer with one of my lower level guys and have them idle in a safe spot on the map so that we both get the full 150% boost without having a third person leeching from the exp. I'm just wondering if either Squeak or Oni had tested it yet.

EDIT: For those who care, I've decided what I'm gonna do with my 151 3rd job points:

30 Explosion
30 Comp
29 Mist
30 Amplification
20 Seal
11 Booster
1 Resist

Not in that order. I'ma prolly go like this: 4amp -> 1seal -> 11booster -> 30explosion -> 29mist -> I dunno rofl. We'll see how much I use Seal before I decide between maxing amp or seal first. I'm thinking I'll get Seal first in order to save money, but we'll see.

HS works with one other person. 150% with a party of 2 leechable members.

You cannot party a level 10 in a place with level 90 enemies and get 150% EXP.
