Hello FFR,

I usually don't do this, but I am going to be serious for once. I am at, what I consider, a low point in my life, perhaps the lowest. As some of you know, I went to Japan for three weeks during the summer. Ever since I returned home (which was about a month ago), I've been depressed. Why? Because I fell in love with the girl who hosted me. And I don't use that word casually; love. So for the past month, I've been contemplating on whether or not to tell her that I infact do have feelings for her and risk scaring her off. I keep telling myself "this feeling will pass," but it hasn't.

On top of that, I have no idea what I am going to do with my life. My best friend left for college yesterday, and my other good friend leaves in a few weeks. Which blows, since I'm stuck in this God-forsaken place where old people come to die, L.A. hipsters come to escape L.A. but bitch about the hot weather NONSTOP, and hicks come for the sand-dunes and prime location near the "river." I dont know what "river" they are constantly talking about, but f*ck, I never want to go there.

And to make matters worse, I feel guilty for being depressed. Everyday people are getting killed in Iraq, and now the South is getting f*cked over by hurricane Katrina, neither of which I really care about, but I mean, my problems are a joke compared to what they face.

So there you have it FFR. I am getting owned by life. At least I still have my sense of humor.
