You must realize that most people let power get to them. Parents have power over their kids, so they use it even when it's not necessary.

To Tokzic: Yeah, that's bull****. Parents like to choose what their kids do for fun. If you go out too much, they want you to stay in. If you play too many games, they want you to do other things. TV, etc....

My mom says I need to get out more and do other things. I go out as much as I can. It's rather hard when all my friends are either up at college or graduated and are across the state and/or country. She goes out sometimes with her friends, but whenever she's home she does one or more of three things: tv, internet, nap. She's a hypocrite, and just likes to bitch and belittle others.

I get decent grades, french is my weak subject, but other then that A's and B's. It's the EFFORT my dad marks me on. If I get low effort he bitches out at me and tells me he's taking MY computer from my room. He said if I got anything lower than an S (NI, S, G, O) he won't let me play rugby. So I tell him I'm quitting rugby, and then I gave him my report which were all S's. He's smart enough to know taking my internet away would just make me wreak havoc and be miserable to everyone.

It's better than drugs though eh?

I do very well in school. Both my parents realize that I use ms as a stress relief game. Most of the weekend is spent on ms mostly because I'm just so damn tired from school and everything else. Sure I go out with my friends, but its not like I do that everyday every weekend. I think its ridiculous how everyone stereotypes me as a geek or a nerd just because I'm japanese and I happen to be addicted to a computer game and because I don't go out with all of my friends every single day and every single weekdend to have pointless fun. I would rather be lazy and sit on my ass and talk to my friends online. Its just a point of personal preference really. Back on topic, my hacked friend got her level 61 cleric so no more distrations training her cleric. I'm still helping her find an ester and I'm still helping my sin friend who got hacked. I will start "hardcore" train I guess during spring break (2 weeks). Time to study...(irony...)

If anyone cares, I'm back on Maple =D I managed to bring my laptop to a place on campus that allowed the patcher to connect, so it's all good now.

Haven't been leveling very efficiently (still lv. 26), but I've been having plenty of fun just helping my friends instead of training.

Oh.. Some noob in Ludi asked for money to get back to Ellinia. So I gave him 10k. About 5 minutes later, I still see him. I ask him why he hasn't left yet, then he called me a sucker. What a little prick. His fame went from 1 to -2.

Got my cleric to ~20%. I'm not so far behind now.

I don't see a point in continuing hardcore though. I am pretty sure I'm gonna be grounded and won't be able to make advance at the same time now.

Yeah, but grounding me from the computer won't improve my grades.

However, my grades will improve because the class has gone from "employability bull**** that I didn't want in the first place" to "C++ that is the reason why I signed up for it in the first place and am really pissed it took 3/4 of the year to finally start it."

You don't need 10k to take a boat ride to Orbis, then to Elinnia. Boat prices are like 3k rofl.

Also, started a bowman on bera. Got it to lvl 10, got it out of maple island. I also got a white goushin so there's a small +2 speed boost when I lvl up again to lvl 11. Also, if anyone wants to help me fund my bowman, then go right ahead. I don't care if anyone doesn't, its the thought that counts anyway =P

Someone tried a somewhat complex scam on me a little while ago. Some dude in Kerning shouted "Quitting... follow me if you want my stuff". I figured it was probably some kind of scam, but I was curious what was up and so I followed him. He took me to one of the shops... I forgot which one, but on the bottom level of it, the name labels are hidden.

He told me to go stand in the right corner while he stood in the left. He dropped a high-level thief hat and told me that if I could drop something better, he'd give me all his stuff. At this point I was pretty sure it was a scam, so I called him out on it. He of course denied it and claimed how there was no way he could steal anything of mine when he was so far away... but I figured someone could by hiding in that corner by ducking and being hidden by the environment. Turns out this was the case of course, and the hidden guy supposedly figured I was unscammable and revealed himself.

This is where the next part comes in. Another dude jumps into the channel, shouting that these guys are scammers and stole his items... all angry and telling me to report them. I was on his side until he opened a trade window and begged me for money to buy a new weapon. It was at this point that I realized... it was just a whole new level to the scam. XD Just trying to guilt me into giving him money since the scammers "stole" his items when he was surely on their side.

Once I called him out on that, he acted like I was more heartless than Satan and then the three of them fled the scene.


It's pretty sad that they would go to such lengths to attempt to trick people into giving them money and items.

I almsot got scammed once, some noob traded me and said that he could dupe items. Another time, some other noob traded me and said that he could double my mesos.

See, i've played RuneScape before. I KNOW the scams on that game. I KNOW that some people will be clever and try to outsmart people. That's why you NEED to think ahead when playing MMO's. Someone might just get away with a scam.

Do not cheat.


Wanting to double your mesos or to "dupe" an item is considered cheating even if it is done for you. Don't be a douche bag.

Singapore is so academic oriented. The parents start taking their kids to pre-school since they're 4 so as not to let their kids lose out to other kids. But then some people are late bloomers. *Shrugs*

My grades suck. Parents blame it on MS. Usual routine. I play MS, they scream, if screaming doesn't work, they off the modem. Simple.
