Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
Choof's palms were sweaty. His knees weak, arms were heavy. He knew he had to make a break for it, but he couldn't move. Suddenly, Zenith came outta nowhere and pimp-slapped him. Mounds of spaghetti fell out of Choof's jacket, as well as... a box of garam masala.
The team had found their man. Well, one of them anyway. choof has been lynched. He was a Mafia Goon. Final vote count: choof - 4 (MrPopadopalis25, Pizza69, thesunfan, AragakiAyase) thesunfan - 1 (rzr) AragakiAyase - 1 (choof) Pizza69 - 1 (Clownpiece) Clownpiece - 1 (Funnygurl555) unvote - 1 (_Zenith_) Night 1 has now begun, and will end tomorrow at 10:30 PM EST. Remember to send in your night actions if you have any.

Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
During the night, the suspects dreamed of all the ways they would use the garam masala they had just retrieved for breakfast. Chicken and waffles, eggs, oatmeal, french toast... all in all, they demonstrated they had no idea what garam masala was actually used for (although who knows, maybe the eggs would actually work). Sadly, one of the suspects never woke up to taste the spicy Indian goodness.
In the night, rzr has died. He was a Vanilla Townie. It is now Day 2. The day will end on September 5th at 10:30 PM EST.

I don't get why rzr died and not someone else who was being more strongly townread? rzr had a few people scumreading him so I would've thought he'd be more likely to be left alive for a possible mislynch

Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
That night kill really has me confused.
Like I'm willing to bet it was a non-vet who made that kill because rzr was definitely not the most optimal unless the wolf blueread him which is still puzzling. Also, guys (and funny), really good shit on the wolf D0 lynch!

Like I kinda agree with AA.
Going into this phase I thought for sure the wolf was between rzr and clown

I'm really sure that the last wolf is not AA Pizza or Plop for their pushes on Choof.
Leaves Zenith and Funny who I have pretty hard townreads on, if I'm wrong on one... well I don't want to think about that right now. Maybe I just picked the wrong clown to hard defend idk. Tracker or Cop can end this game if we're lucky but I doubt we are.

I was rereading the thread because I thought the phase ended an hour later than I thought it did. Will post why day starts not only make sense but are traditional in forum WW now.

Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
I think any peek or PR action helps here but iunno if said PR(s) want to out this early.
Wouldn't have to worry about counterclaiming because that would be gg get stomped wolves.

Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
Day starts go allllllll the way back to the first forum WW game ever played, which was on a fantasy forum in 1997 (The mod wanted to give the game of mafia, which he recently found and came to love, a fantasy twist).
The game was premised with a small village that had a prophecy passed down from generations regarding, of course, werewolves. Prophecy said something like blah blah blah some of the blood of the village is intertwined with the wolves or something. People didn't think of it very much then livestock shows up dead and stuff and howling is heard in the night. Village gets together and the elders decide that the prophecy was true and that the werewolves have awakened. They decide to start lynching off the town members, and based on a magic ritual, will be able to tell if the villager was a werewolf or not. There's a bit more flavor in it, and if FFR was as traditional as the first games were, the game would technically have a Day -1 where town woke up solely to have the mod announce that there is howling in the night and shit (@Funny you might remember the mod doing this when we played at AN). The first game on FFR was very true to this lore, and you can reread it to get a better understanding of how the flavor for daystarts makes sense. ANYWAYS BACK TO THE GAME SCREW TOWN FOR LYNCHING A WOLF AND MAKING ME TYPE THAT

Nope.
If there is a cop or tracker it may be safe to out here given the setup.

Re: jTWG LXIX - The Spice Must Flow (not a dune reference) GAME THREAD
Wait a minute
Any PR action last night clears the target (unless red result). Also betting two PRs and a slight chance of final wolf being roleblocker but that's just my speculation.

I'm thinking it's clown because of that kill, it really makes no sense mechanically (unless blueread like zenith said)
but it could also have been an xel/V-style RNG kill to fuck with us so I'm not sure
