Here's what I got so far. Hopefully will improve when I'm less tired, but I'm pretty clearly out of the race for D4. I can't even read the densest part of Dreadnought -- at least I can read the dense stuff in HAELEQUIN even though I can't hit all of it. Pretty sure I got relatively a better score on D5's song than ours, way too fast.

Don't give up! Maybe try playing on a faster or slower speedmod to see if it helps?

It takes me a while to adjust to slower speedmods, but maybe I'll try it if nothing else works. I don't think a faster speed would help with this beast. But I just realized that I've been forgetting to try mirror on all our songs, whoops! That'll probably help a lot. My left hand could do a lot better on the purple-white stuff in Prove Them Wrong, and hopefully it'll make some of Dreadnought easier even though I think I still won't be able to read the wharrgarbl at 1000 combo.

Hahaha holy shit my first mirror play improved my score by almost exactly 1000 points. And I was shaking and crap during that one. I could almost read the dense part and I even perfected most of the [14][23] trill, which before I couldn't hit because the stuff leading into it was too fast and the placement was hard for me. Not sure why mirror made it so much easier, but it seems like maybe I could even pass this round

I also improved Prove Them Wrong to a 5-0-0-3 with mirror, and three of those goods were one I kept getting on the simple rolls in the second half. Will try to fix that.

I owe people creds. So I've sent Viisbyxa and shenjoku creds for last week. They split the 3k pot. Viisbyxa also get's 2k for the token get. Should be paid now.

I've been putting 3k in the pot for the last couple weeks. It'll continue.

Well this sucks. My dad decided I really didn't need access to the only thing that makes me happy (the Internet) and thinks FFR is an unhealthy obsession. Won't bother arguing it against myself here but it's really not. So anyway this means I've had very little time the last few days to practice. Now on Dreadnought I'm getting scores like my non-mirror ones with mirror on. Maybe I would've had a shot at advancing if I'd gotten to dedicate more time, maybe not. Oh well. This time I'm satisfied with my performance anyway, I've done the best I can and I got much further than I was expecting to, considering how recently I made it to D4 territory. There's always the next tournament (hopefully) to try to get further. Was fun competing and actually reading all the threads this time. (Guess I won't be able to do that anymore, since my dad wants me to spend much less time here. I'll still try to play when I can and follow this topic, though.)

Anyway, here are my scores for this week. As usual I could do better on these if I had better circumstances. pain night grand tin in particular I think I could improve. The others I couldn't even come close to improving, except for HAELEQUIN which somehow I improved by over 400. Fun song. As for suggestions, S.S.H. is always good :P

Do you guys have any trouble with the ending of Animus Intorqueo No. 1? Tips for hitting it? I've never been able to hit it properly, always get off rhythm on the left and then lose grip on the right.

Trying to improve my scores, no luck yet. Took a while to get good today as a combination of cold and not playing in a few days. This is probably part of the problem I ran into with one hand, I can't really play as often as I need to in order actually to improve my skill.

Also, our song this round of the tournament is pretty tough, my scores so far are near the bottom of the division. Very fast and dense. Glad the song in the round after I was eliminated wasn't something I was really good at, though :P.

I'm not sure whether it's because I'm sick or because I haven't played in three days, but I can't play at all today. Getting 20-40 goods on high 50s even. Seems I still need to play nearly every day if I want to improve at all, and that really sucks.

But then I got this. Is it really a 67? I got a silly good early on and the rest was from the ending. I sort of mashed the first phase because I couldn't tell what it was, looks like most of the stuff came from the second half of that first part, then one good on the straight rolls before I got into the pattern. Pretty fun song, I'll have to play it more.

I kinda feel the same about For FFR. I got some really good score on it a few months back. It's just that last awkward roll that gives it the difficulty I think. And the fact that it's legacy and has weird framers all over the place.

EDIT: Guess I'll try to participate this week since I'm out of the tourny and not so stressed on one song anymore :P Here's my current score for Valhalla, I'll do the others later tonight probably.

Welp. It's a situation like this that made me finally switch to spread in the first place. I don't have time to play every day anymore, and it's really frustrating not to be able to do as well as I could a few weeks ago. The only scores I can beat are the really bad ones, and then I get another really bad score to take its place. Not fun at all. Sucks that that's how skill works, at least for me.
