Gotta question, how populated were the tournaments before ffr went down? Because I'm assuming that if most of the 1.7 million members used to be active then there must have been a huge number of people participating in tournaments. (?)

I say about 70+. Depending who runs it.

Official tourneys would get huge user based ones used to be in the 100s I'd say but now averages about 70 signups and maybe half of them participate. Thanks sweagen the silly thing is I had you in d4 orig and moved you down for some reason lol. I'm glad people are being so honest with us makes for a better tourney when the competition is close. Even for official tournaments, there weren't that many people in comparison to how many registered users are on the site? Why? Some people don't even play the game, there are a lot of alts, and some people who might play might not be confident enough or whatevs to actually play in a tournament. Some others (myself included when I first joined) might not even be in the loop about what happens on the site, even if these events are on the front page. Fewer people than this actually browse the forums, too. Basically, even though there's a massive number of registered users, the amount of ACTIVE users completely pales in comparison to this.
