How wasn't it impressive? It's very well put together, and the fact that they all moved from Scania as friends and partied all the time... It's pretty sweet. Not to mention they put their guild in their names, since there weren't any. You treat it as unimpressive because they weren't in their 80s... So what? If we did something with our guild, it'd be far "worse" than theirs, considering all but me and Oni are lower level than the ones appearing in that old video.
Oh, I wanted to show you guys and I finally got around to it. Found this pic in the ss folder on my mom's computer. It's one of my bros. He had an idea of which cash shop stuff he wanted, and my other brother and I helped him come up with this: ![]() |

I'm so close to 30 I can taste it. I'm still deciding between Ice or Lightning.

The fact is that the video was impressive, not because they were doing crazy damage, but because of all the effort that was put into it that made it great. This is even more impressive considering that this was before guilds were done. I just thought that if FFR guild did something like that, it would be cool and fun.

And I hear you should take lightning after ice or medi, because of its low attack it can be supported by the higher int. |

I went lightning, and it's cool. Too bad it's HORRIBLY weak at low level. I think it starts at like 2, and ice starts at 14. Plus fire boars are weak to ice and that's mainly what I've been training on for the last two levels, using magic claw. Also I was talking to a level 39 Ice Wiz on the way to Ludi and he said it's insanely boring and that he wishes he was a fire mage...
Lawl. It's all in preference. My lightning is JUST getting strong enough to kill things like horned/green shrooms in one hit. By 33 you can two hit octopi with it. |

Giggles: If you're mad awesome at getting money like I am, do lightning first. Lorangs are lightning fast for leveling (lol pun), and can pay well in drops. Fire boars are boring, slow, and don't drop anything amazing.
Of course, Icers don't have to spend tons on pots. But it's your choice - speed or money. |

Fire mages may be strong in the earlier levels, but from what I hear, they are EXTREMELY boring and hard to level later in until 3rd job. Ask EB because I wouldn't really know how hard it is considering my f/p mage is level 33.

![]() Longest level EVER... By far. I didn't really try leveling this level, so most of my exp was doing quests or helping out friends. 1 more level and my damage range will be over 1000. =) O_o

Yeah, I think I'll go lightning. I have tons of pots that have just accumulated over the levels. Something like 400 reds and 200 oranges.

GJ on level ckj.
Umm by pots I'm pretty sure he meant things like blue pots/mana elixirs. Reds and Oranges don't help that much with mana, go figure. Like, if you wanna power level, just kill nonstop, you'll burn through hundreds of mana elixirs per day. At least I did... I hope that wasn't a waste... If you want your mana to last a long time though, don't use magic guard for any swarm of enemies. You'll last ten times as long without a potion fighting stirges in the subway without magic guard. Also stirges have ALOT of lemon/blue pot drops so you can use those whenever necessary. They're one hit kills too, for 32 exp it's not bad, training there for an hour or two will get you a level. |

I have lots of both. And I'm leveling to thirty on them now. I have to leave tomorrow, so I won't be able to play for a long time.
EDIT: Them = Stirges

Levelling to thirty on pq is much easier. If you're good and whore the bonus you can get up to 20% per run, plus you get better items usually. For some reason this one time when I was doing a pq one of my party members lagged out so there was just three and then we could still do it, but i was getting 105 xp off of Ligators so I didn't leave there for a while, it was pretty rad.

When you get 2nd Job, there's no rush to put points in lightning. Put one in tele and one in MP Eater - both are handy at level one. After that, max Lightning. At Level 43, you go to Lorangs to train, where you will remain for a VERY long time. After Lightning is maxed, go straight to Ice - Claw becomes incredibly weak and is no good to use at all in comparison to maxed Ice, except on Ice resistant monsters.
After that, it's up to you - if you like extra power, get Medi first. If not having to use MP pots as often appeals to you, get MP Eater. If you'd like saving MP and getting a little further every time you use Tele, then max it. Prioritize. |
