Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
addict is confusing. I always miss in the first jumpstream and I don't know why. I'd probably be eliminated if I was in the tiebreaker lol

RRR is going to be the reason I advocate non-combo scoring in all future tournaments.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Well on nonmirror the beginning jacks are on the right side -- when I was actually doing minijacks I was either getting a lot of late goods or several misses. It's weird because right-side minijacks later on in the file when I used mirror were fine, but for some reason the ones in the beginning nonmirror it was as if they were glitched and just dumping random crap.
Apparently only I and Reshiram are the one that had this problem, lol. |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
I noticed AJ and Roy have a different color, what for? *justcurious*
Rock Rock Rock isn't that bad except the ending because of the layering (around 1900 combo). it's like, one arrow to every 4th note (bass kick), one arrow to 8th note rhythm (hi hat), and one for the vocals, with the 16th note mini jacks along with jumps. strict layering like that = kdfkjsdhfjksdhf

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
There's a slightly different color available for users in the FFR Judges group. You probably have it too since you're a judge.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Lemme just end my thoughts with this.
If I were to advance with a mashed FC over someone who got like, 6-0-1-0, who missed somewhere on a jack, I would feel like shit and practically beg to switch places with them. Combo scoring may make FFR what it is but in a competitive tourney, prioritizing FCs over PA is a bad idea. Just saying.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Shiiii... trying so hard not to be eliminated with that huge skilldrop in mid-tourney and that wounded wrist. I'll try my best to AAA this beast. (#o. .)o
Good luck to all us 4 in the currently holding cutoff :P |

It's definitely going to be an interesting week for us lol. Salitz, you should AAA this easy if you can get another run in like that replay. Just don't get nervous at the end! :P |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
well just played rock rock for about 45 mins
there are so many bad transitions in the file I don't know where to begin, it's even more of a pain where im on a 2/3 good run and one of those shitty transitions means rip good score. (I can pretty much get a 2/3 good run most of the time, till the last 500 or so notes that is) Looks like my score isn't gonna be budging any time soon. p.s lol combo scorinG |

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
All the long 32nds can be jumptrilled so there really isn't anything to change in the file. The 2 framers make sense at that file's speed but for some reason it plays as though it's glitched.

Re: 7th Official FFR Tournament
Yes!! Fu** that wrist!
I guess my best bet in this tourney is that i'm so determined. Or stubborn really. :P Had to apply ice packs and cold water to keep my hand frozen all the time. In fact, I really like playing when my hands are cold (it's Quebec here, snowy times ahead). I was so tired of having to stop the song when my wrist burned that I finally played the entire thing with the ice pack compressed on my hand. Haha, I guess it help me concentrate. I strongly believe this is gonna be an AAA or die round. Gotta be prepared. :3 |
