I've been gaining only around 1-2 levels a day. Does fame do anything? Someone got some people to mass defame me for ksing a slime and then telling him if he cared that much about 10 exp, he needed to stop playing.

Yeah, I got a mage from 1-30 in a day and a half because I noticed there was a level 30+ event that ended in two days and I went OMGWTFBBQ!!! A day or two could've gotten me to 42. Note that this is not the mage you're thinking of, most likely.

PWNT SQUEEK PWNT

It'd be more pwnage if Squeek didn't have exams :/

Yeah, I heard that lots of lost teeth can level very quickly.

By the way, my pure int is still below 30 after all this time. I'd love to see how one of you would play a character with as crappy a build as this one.

Bumps appreciated. Until my question is answered I want posts in that thread so that whoever has the answer can see it and respond. Chris suggested just keeping track of my damage for a few levels and using a calculator to make a function for it, but since it relies on more than 1 variable I don't have a calculator capable of that. =( My guess, though, is that int is worth more than just plain matk. Yes, I realize that 1 int gives 1 matk, but what if int itself had a small part, so that 1 int was worth 1 matk + tiny boost. That would explain why pure int mages are so much stronger, even when they really shouldn't be according to the current formula.

I dunno....stupid MS and its stupid formulas. D:<

Hi Afro.

Not talking about Ellipsis the archer. Talking about Squeak the Cleric. No funding. No exchange quest. Etc.

Thanks.

Maybe I didn't play as much more than you guys as I thought I did.

I'll probably just go for 13 hours a day when I come back completely... yeah... that'd show you all...

Haven't gained a single % in 2 days. Yay for Exit Exams... Even though I didn't study, my guild had major issues, so my best friend and I quit, causing commotion, etc. Got to love the asses in Scania...

I have NO idea how the Lucky7 damage formula is, and the mage formula is horribly flawed. If anybody has the L7 formula, gimme pl0x. Same goes for the mage one, but I'm guessing nobody has the correct formula for that. I need to post on SW about it...
Someone has already made a thread showing damage (with good items for each class). http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/showthread.php?t=413208 These are normal builds though to equip the highest level weapons. Although most hermits still stick with the level 70 claw (OMS we only have up to the 70 claw, it seems), which requires only 110 dex. And some hermits, like me, are low dex (base is 90, but can be counted as 84, since I have luk on my robe as well). But it's a good comparison, although, I'm not sure how good the other classes' items are.

Also, I posted in your mage damage thread.

EDIT: Now that I look that thread over more, it's quite a bit off (especially for you mages). I could spend time with you and come up with a good one that is accurate. You just need to figure out the mage formula first.

The more I play the more it looks like bowmen aren't that great now but will kick major ass later on. Debating starting a new character :/

MS is getting too widespread on FFR. Significantly more regulars play MS and talk about it on FFR than regulars play FFR in general.

Jason: That's only for high levels. Chris was saying he wants to see a graph of each class's damage throughout the levels, and I think it's a cool idea. It'd be fun to see what the curve looks like and how each class grows differently, damage-wise. Of course, like that thread said, damage isn't everything, so it won't be the most accurate respresentation. Prolly the best way to show damage would be to do damage per minute by using the damage we'd find times the hits per minute that each class can do. That would help show the true power of sins and bandits versus say, a spearman.

Oh, and btw, I found a topic about L7's damage: http://www.sleepywood.net/forum/show...damage+formula

Gah, I'm not gonna try to figure out the mage formula anymore. So far I've decided that mage's mastery in skills is actually +60%, so we actually have 70% mastery. The damage formula is so completely wrong for mages it's not even funny, I just want somebody to poke around and get it out of the game code itself. -__-
