SIT THE **** DOWN.

The way I see it, it's less of the song that matters but the file for it. Seems like most people complain about files purely for the fact that it's featuring a song by a whored artist.. but most of them can be fun, if done correctly.
Speaking of Sharpnel, I meant to ask this a while ago, how did we get their permission? |

Someone asked.
It's not too complicated, honestly. |

Sharpnel doesn't seem like the kind of group that'd reply to a permission request e-mail.
That and I thought I heard somewhere that Sharpnel made an account here and directly gave us permission or something. |

TaQ would be awesome because his music has lots of wierd stuff going on which would make for interesting and different files. He's the only Bemani artist I would really like to see on FFR.

TaQ does mostly drum'n bass stuff. Not really a melodic guy, but if you guys like da beats, then he's a good candidate.

What, have you heard any of TaQ's stuff outside of DDR?
He has plenty of songs with incredible melodies. |

Listen to some of his songs on IIDX, or even his bounce connected album.
Again, he specializes mostly in beats (ie. Stoic, Gravity, etc.), but there are a few songs that does show his melodic side (e.g. Still my Words). |

Most of the songs on Bounce Connected were just extended versions of Beatmania/DDR songs. Hell, listen to ongaq:stromatolite. |

yea. Digital Explosion is ok.
also, just got permission from a band called Veritas. http://www.veritaslovesme.com/ working with them to pick out a specific song. from there, i'll be giving.... 20,000 credits seem ok? for someone to make a good chart for it.

Hey Guys, I got permission from Lee Ann Cook. She's a fairly popular folk artist around these parts, including scoring a couple of title tracks.
All I have on hand right now is samples, but, if any of you are interested, I can easily rip her music for you. Here's a sample of her work, drop me a line if you want more: http://cdbaby.com/mp3lofi/increasethepeace-01.m3u psst, she'smymom |
