if theyre makin r3 as ddr-ish as they say they are, then there probably be song options screen with more mods

To the Staff: R3 is takin quite long with other things like spinitup. Do u guys have an approx. date for the release?

How memory intensive is it going to be? Same as r1 or the other 2 possibilities?

It was not supposed to come out in April. It was a joke. Synth announced that the release date would be April 31st, remember? April 31st doesn't exist. He was trying to get it out as early as possible, but so far, some work still needs to be done. If he knew there was going to be any complaining like this, he never would've announced a "release date".

Just relax and enjoy everything else FFR has to offer, and be patient, k?

Can someone tell me in a yes or no answer if FFR has speed mods?

(In my opinon leave speed mods to R2 and stepmaina and keep it similarish to the way it is in terms of gameplay. If you want different gameplay then play R2 or stepmaina or wait till R3 or make your own game. FFR is good beacuse of its gameplay change that then it is no longer Style 3 but R3!)

3rd Style does NOT need Marvelous timing...Perfect is enough, it doesn't need to be a clone of R2.

I really hope they don't completely change the feel of the current R1 for 3rd style...that would sadden me =(

Agreed with Shash... what makes R1 so much fun is going for the AAA. Marvs will kill that, unless Perfs and Marvs will give the same points.

Don't see how Marvs can be added without it destroying 3 years of the database... the entire point system for R1 would have to be changed, making all the old scores meaningless.

yea. Marvs are actually harder to get than perfects. they have to be right on the money, while the perfects may be a very small amount off. indeed killing the score system.

If I'm not mistaken the scores were cleared out when R1 came. Why would 3rd Style be any different, and furthermore, why would you care that much?

I could understand someone like shash being mad since he has so many #1 ranks, but if you high scored certain songs once, you could do it again. And really, it would get people to play FFR more than they would be otherwise, which as far as I can see, is a good thing.

Only cuz you wouldn't be the best nemore rofl, if they really make the timing windows accurate, getting perfs would be WAY too easy

Just use a hotkey program for that. Not too difficult.
