Updated to here. Nice favorites so far!
Ecoli I halfway didn't want to count your reason but I didn't specify yet that reasons couldn't be half-assed. :P Half-assed reasons just for a submission going forward will not be accepted.

Re: badman7772's Tournament of Hopelessness
Hoping to improve this to a low-mid SDG, but a non-terrible starter:
For the Sponcon, that award's gotta go to Antigravity. The song slaps to begin with, and file matches its intensity perfectly with its heavy layering and colourful bursts. The flow of the file is impeccable, which is particularly impressive given that for the most part the patterns aren't exactly cheesy--even the minijacks feel very fluid and fun to hit. Everything just feels right. An actual 10/10.

Re: badman7772's Tournament of Hopelessness
My favorite song/stepfile combination is Ball of Malt. I'm not usually into country songs, but this one just rolls so well, and the stepfile rolls right along with it. When I first came back to the game after 13 years this is one of the fist difficulty 20+ songs where I got a FC, because every note just felt right. And the jack is good practice for novice players (or intermediate players in my case because I still didn't hit it perfectly).

Another late submission but this time I don't have an excuse, blackmagik score probably tomorrow because I couldn't get a good score today.

Re: badman7772's Tournament of Hopelessness
For now
Sponcon The reason I picked the legacy CIA Rave is when I first started playing FFR, I thought this was like, the hardest song ever. I really like how it sounds and this was the first "hard" song that I FC'd. I just thought the constant streams were super advanced and I remember getting really excited when I was finally able to FC it. I still have yet to AAA it lol but I really like playing it. It gives me a sense of nostalgia. The song just makes me happy and I know this is a legacy file because it doesn't quite fit the standards of the website now...but I like this version more than v2 Also the score sucks because I need to trim my nails lol but it's not about the score, right? =) |

Round 4 - Rise Up https://photos.app.goo.gl/nbfsnSFwAgYhZZsb7 SCORE UPDATE 1 0 =>89975 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4th Sponcon https://photos.app.goo.gl/RbNhRgGLLB5KzaE17 https://photos.app.goo.gl/RefSFQpE9y2fg3HW7 I picked 2 my most favorite songs, because I canīt choose between them which is my most favorite... I chose "Guitar vs Piano" because I like Piano-styled songs and specially in this song is mixed with guitar. I firstly heard it and play this song about 3 years ago in SCGMD 4 game on Kongregate online game site. (SCGMD 4 is very similar game as FFR but not depends on notes perfection/awesome...hit... Is only about FCing all songs...) Second song I chose "Sunless Daybreak" because of nostalgia from adventure mobile game "Furdiburb" which I played it firstly about 6 years ago and which also have an amazing sountrack and story. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Last edited by Janko2000; 09-19-2020 at 03:32 PM.. |

Re: badman7772's Tournament of Hopelessness
All I can say that I fell in love with this song when I first listened to it and then no matter how many times I heared to it on any VSRG game, it never made me bored of itself. So, it still keeps its throne in my heart like the day I listened to it for the first time. Actually, I also love DJ Sharpnel's Gate Openerz and Takecore of Yourself but I think BF2014 has a different place for me according to these.

Re: badman7772's Tournament of Hopelessness
This was really stressful beyond what I imagined going into this chart. Glad to get this out of the way properly. ---------- For the Sponcon I chose Miserable Bastard. It's quickly become one of my favorites in FFR due to the short burst of intensity it gives. The constant trills are really satisfying to hit and the length makes it easy to jump back in for more attempts. (also 2nd 1.1x AAA woo!!) |
