I just started Maple story today. Thought i would introduce myself as it seems that all FFRers who play are from the forums and i am a chat person.
I am angel-d (as you can tell), a chat regular. I used to post on the forums occasionally when i first came to ffr but got out of that habit quickly when i found the chat.
From what i have played (even though i haven't even got to Victoria Island yet) maple story seems pretty cool and i guess i will keep it up for a while when i can. My sn in it is angeldevine... and yes i know it is spelled wrong.

Anyway, thats about it, just wanted to say hi and hopefully see you in maple story soon. You can all look after me and give me tips as i am now the maple story baby of ffr.

Where are the block golems... I searched for a while and couldn't find them (I wasn't trying really hard, just exploring)... If they really are great exp and have great spawn, I might train there, but I doubt that they are better than hectors or lusters... Level 57 is going on forever... 40%...

1 Energy Bolt
5 Increasing MP Recovery
10 Increasing max MP Increase
10 Magic Claw
Save 3 levels of SP
20 Magic Claw
16 Increasing MP Recover
20 Magic Guard

Should I do that in that order? Meaning 1 for Power Bolt. Then 5 for increasing max mp. Then 10 for claw in that order? Like when I have to put 5 for increase max mp recovery do I only distribut to that? Then keep power bolt as my only attack at 1 until it's magic claws turn? Or does the order in which I do it matter?

My DK friend got 42% in 2 hours and 45 minutes... at level 85 (or 86.. no sure)....

I know it looks right. It's from the first page where Squeek posted it for Mages. I'm wondering if I should distribute SP in that exact order and only to the Skill that I'm on. For example:

Lets say I hypethetically have 30 SP

1 Energy Bolt
29 SP
5 Increasing MP Recovery
24 SP
10 Increasing max MP Increase
14 SP
10 Magic Claw
4 SP
Save 3 levels of SP....and so on and so forth.
20 Magic Claw
16 Increasing MP Recover
20 Magic Guard

Do I do it in that order and only distribute to the Skill I'm on?

Wizet loses at making decent quests.

I have 3 to do.

One of them is a box hitter. I need one from the boat and one from Grendel. The Grendel one is really rare. The boat one is sure to be swamped with people.

Another one I have to do still is the doll house one. Impossible to do it. Why? Only one person can do it at once. Isn't that convenient?

And the last one? ****. The last one is just ****ed up and not even possible because Wizet put the wrong **** in the quest window and I have no idea what the **** they're talking about.

Afro: It's one per channel. It's not hard to get into one, and it's not hard to keep getting into it. However, now I know what to look for so I'll just do it in the morning on a weekday.

Also, around what level should one be before attempting to explore Ludi? I've never even been to Ossyria before, so I have no idea what it's like out there.

Afro, gah. Figure it out.

One quest you have to hit boxes to go kill the Trojan horses, right? So, break the little blue boxes in the room with the guy who gave you that quest!

One quest you have to go to Main Construction 1, Area 4. So, click the guy and he says "Do you want to go to Main Construction 1, Area 4?" and you say yes!

So freakin' easy. I finished every Ludi quest.

PS - The easiest enemies of Ludi are about as hard as the middle to bottom floors of Orbis Tower. It's not for people in their first job.

Squeek, I did the trojan one. The box hitter I was talking about is the book one.

Also, I never saw ANYONE offering to take me to the construction site. Oni told me that it was a mistake and that there is no construction site at all. Of course, having not found one myself, I believed him.

And yeah, Bandit, I'll probably have to just get up an hour early for school one day for the dollhouse one.

I'm starting to see the cons of the Hermit class..

Drain = worthless against anything that does 1k or above. Because dumb Wizet nerfed it down to 45% and limits the max drain to half your hp... also the fact that most of those will have high defense. Thus my average drain on Master Death Teddies is very low: 671. This goes as low ass 233 and as high as half my max hp: 1108. Kind of pointless when they bump for 14xx and magic for 15xx-16xx.

Drain is already hard enough to use seeing as how you need distance between you and the monster AND there needs to be a monster there. Often times I go to drain, and the monster had died from my last hit. Also with monsters that have large bumps, one could appear on top of me and kill me before I could use drain. Or monsters appear and I go to drain, but punch instead....

Once I have alchemist, it will negate this fact, as I'll only need to hit unagi once and it'll heal me 1500 hp (at max skill)... Right now I have to hit unagi twice... Probably should put supremes on there for now so I can hit one unagi one supreme... *sighs* Maybe I'll just train at zombies until level 93ish when I have high alchemist.. :/

Also partying with priests is troublesome... As a hermit, I need to create some distance with the monsters. Thus, if I party with a priest, the priest has to follow me, not the monsters.. however priests seem to just stand and heal... -_-
