Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
First up are D4 songs, which I can probably AAA both later, and obligatory D6 songs because I'm still in both divisions.

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
QUICK UPDATE!!!
This one wasn't too hard. Got this one at about 9:27 PM FFR Server time Yesterday. And then this one at 12:34 AM FFR server time, about 20 minutes ago. THIS was just a bitch to AAA. Oh, my GOD, those jacks were annoying. Last edited by ULTIMEGA; 03-13-2012 at 12:56 AM.. |

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
Though I generally don't participate in drama, I wish to make a statement about judging.
I haven't played any tournament file, so my post is solely based on the posts in here. Everyone has an opinion, and you have the right to express it, EVEN in a harsh form. Sometimes a "fault" can be difficult to manifest into words; colourful language ensues. The thing for the reader is to take the message out of the rant, which Middie did well. When you don't approve of a judgment made by someone if you think it's unjustified, you're judging the judge in the same way he was criticizing you (or someone else for that matter). Edit: Take into consideration that what comes next is MY opinion: - When judging: Don't use your own stepping style as an argument. Do use faults in the structure of the file. e.a. Misrhythms, mislayering, difficulty spikes. Fun factor is not of much importance in tournament files imo - When reading judgments: Don't take everything that is written as valid. If you don't agree with something: first think if you think it's just (if so: it's helpful criticism, if not: don't even bother); secondly (as mentioned before), don't start judging the judge, you're causing a loop. Edit #2: Oh yeah, avoid "I think it's bad, because I don't like it", but I hope that's self-explanatory. Please be constructive with your criticism and give arguments as of why you think that. (Might add stuff if I feel like it) tl;dr Judges gonna judge

Re: Dragons Fury: Custom Tournament #7
Acid bloops in the background, 'twas the only thing I could do with that segment, apart from an awkward cut

As for the other files: both d6 files were really fun, 0 x 1311 was also well done. I enjoyed both D4 files, and the only other file i played was the nightcore one in D3 which was also fun, so overall great files. |
