Re: World of Warcraft
I like to keep my buttons spaced out in sections. The main bar is still right in the center, with cooldowns every other space in the bar above it (like .:.:.:.:.:.). Then I have a full space between each elemental section for each totem type (like :: :: ::: ::: ), and then there are two vertical bars on the right side. Buffs, rarely-used skills, and non-combat skills are stacked in two bars under the chat. The vertical columns store my professions and mounts, and it is where I put temporary quest items.
I thought this style would only work with Shaman, but a lot of other classes (maybe all of them?) have buffs that "can only have one at a time", like Hunter Aspects or Paladin Auras. I space them all out so when I'm buffing, I just pick one from each section. |

I'm working on binding all my stuff to keys, it's just that I don't want to figure out how to set up bartender so that it's not a huge block.

Re: World of Warcraft
I may have to get a mod for bars just for my shaman. I had no problem placing skills on the bars for my priest. Hell, I have so many free spots, I put toys and other trinkets I have on there so I don't have to go through the hassle of going into my bags to use them.
My warrior was a bit iffy because he almost filled every single possible spot on the bar. However, I managed to fit everything I normally used on the regular interface. My shaman however. He's not 60 yet and both my right side bars are filled with totems and the bottom bars are filled with all my healing and damage spell. I know between where he's currently at and 80, he will get a ton of new spells to use, so I'll definitely need more bars. ~Tsugomaru

Re: World of Warcraft
Thaddius?
I think my best is 8500 (without a buff for damage increase from the bosses like curator.) |

Re: World of Warcraft
Sadly I couldn't see my damage during Thaddius as I was too busy not dying, and the achievements thing does not record it since my highest damage is 250,000 from some siege quest, so the best I can go off of for comparative purposes is a 12k crit I just got in a 5-man pug at VH.
Ran OS and got my t7.5 gloves, but they suck. Blizz screwed up the stats for our t7 and t7.5 gloves, and from what I've read, we've been screwed on gloves for almost every tier. Ran Vault and got the chest, but I gave it to someone else because I don't PVP and I already had the t7 chest, which he did not. And he actually PVPd, so he deserved it. Bought the new trinket as mentioned earlier and it's now a bonus of ~1,400 spellpower if they both proc at the same time. That's a little less than double my base SP. And in that run I got 12k on, I did more DPS than #2 and #3 combined: a rogue and a mage. In the 25-man OS, I got 2nd to a Mage. In the 25-man Vault, I got fourth. It's a good thing I got recount yesterday. It's a fun little tool. |

Re: World of Warcraft
For starters, tier gear is usually not meant to be best in slot. It's meant to be something to tide you over until you get your best in slot. A lot of classes have ****ty stats on their tier gear. The Fury warrior gear has ****ty stats for the gloves, and I have 4 other epic gloves that are easily better than them.

Re: World of Warcraft
Lately I'm pulling 2800-3200 DPS in raids, even with my crappy gear which should get better when I run another Naxx-25 tomorrow. It feels good to have PUGs for VoA constantly whispering me saying "dude your dps is sick bro".
oh and best crit i've had was last week in 10-man voa which was a 12879 envenom

Re: World of Warcraft
Just did 10-man vault with a pug. #1 at 2800 dps.
Which is sad because I missed once or twice on my lava burst. Sucks that Shaman get no +hit talents like mages, but eh. The t7.5 gloves have +hit but they're significantly weaker than what I have and our enchanter wasn't online when I got them so they're not usable yet. So yeah tokzic I don't know why anyone would want you instead of me but keep telling yourself that you're amazing. edit: and just did a CoS pug with a group that wasn't going for the timed kill. After a while it became apparent that we were really too good (with me leading DPS by a long shot again--actually had 2,400 dps in a 5-man) and ended up getting the boss down with a minute to spare. I got the drake two days ago so I just wanted it down for the free emblem, really. Then the group wanted to go to UP and ugh I hate UP but we did it and apparently our DPS was amazing once again as we got the King's Bane achievement by dropping him so fast that he never actually used Bane. Oh and I helped the other guys get the other UP achievements along the way, since I had those too. I think it's funny that the guy who's been playing for a week is the guy explaining instances to people but I guess it's just the result of two personality traits I have: I'm a fast learner and I love to teach. One time I was doing an instance with my guild (which we do every day--typically just the heroic daily and one other but it varies) and since we don't have a tank (he's off fighting some war for america or something i duno) we have to pick one up every day. This one hadn't done the instance before so I started explaining and the rest of my guild promptly pointed out that the one who has been playing for a month is the one doing the explaining. But it's not like I got anything wrong. Ah... whatever. I'm going to suggest to my guild tomorrow that we start running every instance for achievements now, since I'm done with gear. pps - it's nice to know that I have the single greatest party/raid skill in the game. Makes me feel worthwhile, you know? It certainly gets me invited into raids more easily than others. I told my friend right from the start that no matter what, I wanted to play a class that could be helpful. You know, the opposite of Rogues (lol tokzic rogues suck so much stop defending them). I normally would've gone with Priest for just straight heals but my friend kept telling me how useful Shaman are in any spec, and Shatner sealed the deal. Re: World of Warcraft
Probably.
Did you see that the first part of Ulduar's going to have vehicles? Sounds pretty slick, but kinda sucks because vehicle's power ramps off of your character's gear. |

Re: World of Warcraft
I don't see how raid buffed and boss buff crits count for anything. Everyone does ridiculous damage. Get a 15k crit in a bg and then you have something there.

Re: World of Warcraft
Meh, I don't have a screenshot of it, but when I was Arms before they nerfed Sudden Death, I managed to do a 19k Execute crit on a Disc Priest.
Is this what you're talking about Izzy?(That would equate to about a ~40k crit on Thaddius)
