Can't play ms anymore tonight... Sister is being an idiot and downloading a whole bunch of random music and other crap that it is lagging ms horribly. It took me 20 minutes to get 1%... Not worth my time or effort. Going to level tomorrow or quite possibly tonight if ms stops lagging. 85% at level 56.

With MP Eater, you rarely use, if ever, mana pots. So boo-hoo that you have to use mana pots on boss guys. Guess what? I have to use hp stuff to heal when fighting bigger guys as well... and it varies. Drain is risky often times, and have to watch carefully to see if I am able to drain at the moment otherwise I have to use a supreme/unagi. OH AND I CAN'T FIGHT A JR. BALROG UNLESS I DON'T GET HIT. Of course, can with HB... But we're leaving that out of it.

But it's an even bigger waste to toss points into HP. Okay, Squeek going lukless and keeping it to 50 is a cool idea. Otherwise, it's a crappy idea.

You guys spend so much money scrolling better items for a few matk more, yet wouldn't care about throwing AP away into HP... ehh.. whatever. Same goes for not going lukless. Lukless is far better power wise and money wise than going normal build. No worries about scrolling.. no worries about gear... plus you're way stronger, even late in the game with just a yellow umbrella.. rofl.. Then when the black umbrella is out.. wow.. say goodnight normal mages.

Then again, that way could be boring as you have nothing to spend your money on. OH WAIT THERE IS SOMETHING. POTS. Now you have the money to fight bigger guys all you want! And you're stronger on top if it!


So yeah, I have just no idea about any other class in this game. I suck. Jeeze... Oh, forget the fact that everyone in every class asks me about their skills and builds, and I know almost as much/same about the game as Squeek (concerning only OMS stuff).


This bandit had transformed all these Yetis. I asked him if I could have and he's said no. Then he went up and they started pounded and he walked past me so I got pounded. He went down below and fought other things. So I'm like alright whatever... and started to kill them. First one I kill drops a red arten.. haha I told him it wouldn't have mattered if he killed it anyways since it's not predetermined. He was still upset. XD

Please tell me where I said that I didn't like MG or that MG was bad, or that it wasn't an awesome skill. My point was that we hate having to use MG, because it's so much cheaper to heal HP instead of HP and MP.

...sometimes I really wonder if you read what we say....Afro didn't say they did more damage but you assumed that's what he meant. He was just musing about how they'd be better for boss fights. Everybody else agreed but admitted that HP clerics are a pretty terrible idea in the long run. I think it's a pretty bad idea altogether and said so.

And uh, I would be pure int (maybe not anymore, though. At this point I do more damage than a pure int with even the best yellow umbrella...) but I didn't know what the hell pure int was when I started. Same way a lot of first-time warriors have retardedly high dex, pretty much all first-time mages are NOT pure int because it's not something you think about when you're starting out.

And we buy pots. I have plenty of money to go kill Jr. Balrog if I wanted. Do I feel like wasting an assload of money on killing bosses? No. Could I? Of course. And the main reason I hate using MG is when I fight ing Sanc2. I could fight macis without MG, but like I said before, one bit of lag and I'm dead. Being pure int wouldn't help me with that either, and putting points in HP would be pretty stupid. I'm not going back there until I can survive 2 hits without dying, cuz using MG makes me waste so much mana.

I know almost as much/same about the game as Squeek

Don't act like either of you are perfect. Squeek told us archers to put way too much into str and it messed us up. You told emccky to not get meditation. Granted, you guys aren't completely retarded about everything, and you guys have a good base knowledge for advising people, but it's hard to advise people on how to be a certain class when you've never been it. Squeek has a xbowman now so I'd listen more to his advice on archers, but still, you've only ever had that one character, and a lot of the things you say (not just advice, but just general comments about other classes) show that you really don't know what it's like to play as other classes.

I'd like to think I have about as much knowledge as you guys have, too. I've made 1 of pretty much every character, and played at least half the 2nd job advancements. In fact, until I played some of the characters, I didn't know what it was like at all (like, I had no idea how many pots bandits used until I played one). I'm just saying, don't act so condescending when sometimes you really don't know what you're talking about.

I ask for what stat I should get after maxing FA and I get Noah saying, "Get Med" over 100 times, Bandit giving a Sin's take on a mage's build, and no clear definition on what the hell I'm supposed to do. Moral is:

Along with the enticing description, at the bottom of the page were around 3 pictures of "happy customers" one of which was the picture that someone pointed out in this very thread from basilmarket of me. Luckily, he had his e-mail on the page so I sent him a professional-sounding threatening letter making up all kinds of crap like telling him:

"Purposely manipulating any piece of information to make someone (including an alias) sound as if they had done something that may cause them to [dam cant think of the word, I asked my friend and he knew, but its that word whenever you ruin someones reputation] is an illegal act punishible by the law" or something to that extent. I love making stuff up. I refreshed the page an hour later and my pic was gone. I'm amazing. Well that was my adventure of the day, share yours! =D lol

Oni, slander is probably what you're going for.

However, slander is for spoken word. I guess libel would be what you want (same meaning as slander but for written word).

That said, I must now say this. HOLY **** PQ SUCKS FOR A LVL 21 PURE INT WITH LVL 1 BOLT AND LVL 1 CLAW.


[edit]I forgot something. When I PQ'd all of my party members died at King Slime. We were all doing about 1 damage to it. Once in a while a higher number would pop up, but the person responsible for that died early on. We had no chance. I find it funny that I'm the only one who lived through King Slime.[/edit]

I'm not PQing again for a long time. I think I might hop on my cleric and screw around at Grupins, since I recall Noah said he wouldn't mind partying there. EQing my pure int at this point seems like the best idea.

I understand what you are saying eb, but just because you have played all the classes up to 2nd job doesn't mean you have the knowledge to advise others well about the character. I know I messed up my archer a little, and I'm not the most perfect archer in the world, but I know for a fact that I could tell anyone here on FFR a hell of a lot more about archers. I'm getting sorta tired about all the lame ass tips and adivce that you guys all give about archers, or any other class for that matter, and then you guys argue over and over about how he/she is wrong and that you are right. Justifiying yourself, (I don't really mean to target this towards you EB) by saying you have played the character doesn't automatically make you an expert by any way on the class. I only give advice about archers. I could give advice about fire mages since I do have one, but that would be ridiculous, seeing as its only 3x. My point is that we should all just give advice about our own class. EB, just give advice for fire mages, bandit, give advice for sins, and so forth. Stop the bitching and just play the ****ing game. Jesus.

That's because I had just found out emccky didn't get med because banditcom told him to get tele, so I figured I'd stress that med is most definitely the way to go. You can ask emccky now, he got teleport and later discovered med would have been way more useful at the time.

And ckj, I say that because I had a fairly broad knowledge base. It's not like I'm saying I can advise anybody about any class at any level. If you haven't noticed, I'll often give advice like "Well when I was xx level, I was fighting at _____ area, but I don't know about whateverclassyouare. =\" In fact, I said pretty much that exact advice to gonzo earlier today, if I'm not mistaken. And like, when I'm not 100% sure on things, I go look it up and read guides and figure stuff out, like when I was helping Adele make her spearwoman. I didn't know any spearmen that could help, so I asked around and looked through Sleepywood's stuff for warriors and told Adele what I knew. Almost all my advice comes from experience, but I've seen other people speak in absolutes about things I KNOW they don't absolutely know.

Anyway, Chris, does that guy in gonzo's SS have the same hair as you (2nd guy from the left)?

Went onto Sleepywood and read Squeek's super duper long mage guide.

Brain. Overloaded. Screwed.

Oh and Squeek I was wondering would it be favourable if I kinda went for 15 Holy Arrow and 16 Teleport. Cuz 15 Holy Arrow would be a higher damage with the same amount of freaking mp while tele is like less mp as you go up the charts. Would that work, in a sense?

Now level 47 cleric, with 4 mp eater, 1 tele, 5 invin, 1 bless, 30 heal and 11 holy arrow. Abit messed up, but I'm going to max out bless next.

P.S. Squeek I also saw in your guide that "if you casted MG and don't need it anymore login and logout to uncast it" since it lasts for a freaking 10 minutes. Did you know that you can uncast a skill by simply right-clicking it when it appears at the top right hand corner of your screen? (I'm not too sure about pots with temporary increase in stuff, but if you have alot sure go ahead and try)

Holy Arrow at level 15 is weaksauce. Bolt at level 10 is almost stronger.
