Well Blackout wouldn't exactly be my first choice of song to step. First it's not really a genre I step a lot of and it's pretty repetitive. That's kind of the point of the competition though so I won't complain. I'll just have to get creative with Audacity.

For being an official stepcon, the song selection is very disappointing and does not allow for much original stepping choices at all.

I was expecting something with lots of layers of sound and many solos (think World's Most Wanted Wiener) where there are a TON of sounds to step and you can really differentiate yourself.
This is really a boring song and all the files in contention to win are going to have exactly the same layering for 90% of their duration most likely.
As a result, inb4 files with a ton of annoying color gimmicks in order to try to be "different"

Oh well I'll shit out a file to this dumb song... at least there's a REALLY obvious and convenient place to cut it lmao

Haha this. I'm sure there'll be a few entries that won't do exactly what we're all thinking of doing, using the cut that just screams CUT AND STOP HERE NOW but the rest of the song is just...more of the same, so I don't see how that'll help anything.
