You got expelled because of an unsubstantiated rumor?

Your local school system is incredibly shitty. You're better off homeschooled.

But how can you be expelled without any evidence against you?

Homeschooling has its ups and downs. I knew a couple kids that were homeschooled, but that was because they were incredibly uber smart...anyway, the good thing about homeschooling is that you can mold your schedule around it, you can do homework whenever you want, go to the bathroom, get food, listen to music, whatever, there's nothing stopping you. However, the downside (and this is major), is essentially what everyone else has been saying. Friends...are...life. The social development you get in high school is probably more important than anything else you learn. The friends you make, yeah some of them will go away, but others you'll keep in touch with. I'd say that the social factor alone is enough for you to stay in school.

Social life in highschool doesn't mean a whole lot. I can beat ALOT of money i'll keep in touch with VERY FEW of my friends once I hit university, once I get a job, ect. They're all gone about their buisness, doing their own shit, raising their own families. I'll make other friends, meet other people. Highschool is only 3 years of my life...I've got along way to go.

The only thing you really get out of highschool is shit and knowledge you need for the working world, which you can get at home.

The social interaction you learn is high school is total and complete tripe. Everyone in high school is fake. Everyone. You might make a few close friends, but you know what? Most likely, you'd make more close friends through another medium.

I hated every moment of high school. I've made more friends since I've been out of it than I ever did in my entire life. Yeah, quite a few have been over the internet, but that's not such a bad thing because no matter where we go, we'll still be able to talk like we do now.

So homeschool! It'd give us an excuse to talk more, anyway. Hahaha.

I notice that the people who complain continually of social problems are the ones saying it doesn't matter. I'm not saying that the friends you make in high school will last forever, or that the friends you make are that important. What I'm saying is that you're learning how to interact with others, how to get along, how to work well, how to date, etc. You can't learn stuff like that from a class.

That sounds like what someone who was more or less rejected in high school would say. Plus, everyone in life is fake. It's better to learn how to deal with it in high school than to have to learn in your career.

also, if you are homeschooled, youll get a better education. instead of the teacher having to deal with 40 other kids in ur class yelling out shit and asking questions, the teacher only consentrates on you. but htis also makes u ahve to work a lot harder, being that ur mom is watching tv right next to you while u take an exam... lol

In my experiences on the intarweb, home-schoolers generally have poor grammar and spelling.

Not all of them, mind you... just a lot.

Well what I meant to say is that I consider 1500 people to be friends or more so aquaintences, meaning a lot of people know me and I get along with everyone, I don't really know the exact number. And don't worry about offending me or not, I know you wouldn't do that and I'm not easily offended.

I know what you mean, Spec. I have a lot of friends. 1000? No. But I'm one of those people that's just kind of everywhere. Few people don't know me, and even less don't like me. I don't hold grudges against anyone unless I have substantial reason to, and I'm open and friendly with everyone. But I wasn't when I was younger. School taught me how to make friends and be popular. Once I found my niche, it all clicked into place.

I have a few friends who are totally sick of school, so instead of just home school, they are going to test out of high school (which is extremely easy). You get your diploma, and then you go to a comunity college and take the classes you need to be accepted to a college.

Oh, and home-schooling doesnt nessecarily give you a better education. I had a couple friends who were home-schooled for a year and when they entered public school again they were held back a grade.

LOL...oh man, what a waste of time. But as for myself...there are lots of times when I feel I would like to be homeschooled, when you feel that your social life isn't really clicking or that it's practically non-existent. I think, though, that I would stick with high school. The thought of being solely responsible for my high-school education is frightening.

Or perhaps it wasn't and people are jealous and need to find a reason to rip on me. There is no better response to say than "no.", meeting your friends at high school or interacting with them at high school really does not make such a fucking difference than meeting them elsewhere.

As for dating, fuck that shit, like 80% of this site consists single freshman or under and out of all people anti is NOT the person to be fucking saying it's the most important part.

whoa there Hoss, no need to go all apeshit.

there's no replacement for the massive level of social interaction in high school. there's no way that you will be able to have such an atmosphere outside of school. Much like in a job, in school you have to interact with many different types of people in many different situations. Outside of school you can just exist within a comfort zone, and never have to leave it.

edit: I just realized that you said that people were jealous of you. where did you get that from?
