D: I can't even BEGIN to do them. I just kinda mash. xP Which is why I think I'll never get to them.
What you do is find the right kind of playing style is for you. This includes if you are better as a one-hander, index, spread, etc, and if you play with Speed Mods, screen cut, or with nothing at all. A good tip is to master easier songs first before you move onto anything harder. It gets your eye used to the arrow patterns, and the more you practice, you will know how to move your fingers along with what you see. Try the pattern on the table if need be to get a feel of it first.

yeh i remember those times lol, i''m not great, not even good. but back then when i first played ffr, it was like 2004~05, and i felt soooo accomplished passing beethoven virus, and showed off to my friends mashing through Thinking Different (with a bit of arrow reading)...

and when i eventually started playing again, i FC'ed breaking the common and showed that off to my classmates lol. then i remember seeing ledwix play carol megamix on youtube and tried that song, and mashed through it. when i can pass it with like less than 10 misses, i turn to Endless dreams and though it was impossible. cuz i can read the pattern but it's that my fingers can't move that fast.

now my best run on endless dreams is 1 miss, and i'm now looking at jumpstreams as being impossible lol...

but then again, jumpstreams do become 'impossible' in a way for a one hander i guess.

When I first started and even a little after I started spread, I couldn't FC it.

Played it last month or so, got my first FC on it, an AAA.

Some of my first games were stuff like BBHR, Kick It, Horizon, Carol Megamix, and RunnyMorning.

The fact that I wrecked RM for an FC within like 3 weeks had me wondering to myself, "Will I go up or is this my peak?"

Well, a Kyuin BF, tons of VC near-misses, and spread AIM Anthem FC later, I wonder again.

It's not purely about the arrows, per se. It's just using a certain style, getting accustomed to it, and building the speed to hit the arrows without getting a ****ing truckload of avmisses and without blindly screwing up near the end of a song.

Lets see....computer dreams, was TOO hard for me back in March. I was like "how do people do it?"

November, pshhhhh, its like baby steps for me. I even asked myself "why was it too hard for me back then? Its like nothing to me now."

I may not be a pro, but its true what they say. Practice makes perfect.

I've had it many times, thinking "I can never do that" and eventually doing it while shouting "oohhhhh I'm doing it! I'm owning!!"

I remember wanting to FC Mega Man 2 - Dr. Wily Theme badly (which was rated 8 back then 4,5 years ago). I freaked out when I did it. That's so cool about this game, everytime you've improved, you're actually amazing yourself. Now what's cooler than amazing yourself?

lol

Ye. When I managed a 200+ combo in CIA Rave I was "OMG I'm so kick ass!!!" xP I still don't think I'll ever do streams though. I'm not so bad on the one in Endless Dreams. Maybe I'll go practice on that. >.>
