"www.stepmania.com. Plus, here's a more detailed way:

Install StepMania.
Go to C:/Program Files/StepMania/Songs.
Make a new folder, customarily All Music.
When you dl a simfile, be sure to save it in C:/Program Files/StepMania/Songs/[Name of your Folder]
If you do not do this, StepMania will not open, and will tell you the problem.

Anyways.... lock-sensitive forum rofl."

all my songs are downloaded under a file in stepmania>songs, but then when I open stepmania to play, none of my songs show up. ex. when i hit jukebox it says no songs installed and when i try to play all the songs are roulette

Thanks guys, I've had trouble with this for awhile.

(Do all sim files work with stepmania though?)

Stepmania makes both .sm and .dwi files for simfiles so that the simfiles you make in Stepmania are both compatible for Stepmania itself, and Dance With Intensity, another DDR simulator.

Making a song is pretty simple:

1) Go to C:/Program Files/StepMania/Program.
2) Open the "smpackage" file.
3) Click Make New Song.
4) Follow instructions.
5) Enter StepMania, and go to Edit Songs/Courses.
6) Select the simfile you're making, select difficulty, and select Make Song.
7) Now you can edit the song.
