Pass challeging? For about 9 months or so...
AAA challenging? Just got my first one a week ago.

I've been playing for about 7 months and I can pass every song on ffr except Revo etude, although I play sm alot more where I can aa/aaa songs that would be fmo on ffr.

I joined in September of 06 but didn't start playing until late February this year. It took me about 3 months before I was able to pass challenging/very challenging songs. Now I can do for gurus only songs

i can SDG challenging songs and ive been playing for 8 months. But i could play challenging songs long ago

been playing since april. Can't fc or aaa challenging songs but I can pass almost every song except ggc cause it pisses me off.

I've been able to do challenging songs for a long time. Now I pretty much consistently AAA them after a couple of tries. I have a lot of bf's on them too.

oh p.s. been playing for like a year or so.

Challenging and Very Challenging are the upper limits of my ability. I can pass most of them comfortably, but it ends abruptly at "pass". MY PA IS ****

I've had my account for longer but i've been playing since summer '06 and I can AAA challenging songs now.

I started off a -standard- player when I was introduced to this game. Now I can AA a challenging song occasionally. (not AAA, I still suck at this game, even though I have a membership of 1+ years on a different account)

I was able to 'play' challenging songs a month after I started, but only now (a year after I started or so) can I do very well on them... =/ It's usually games played, not time that affects your ability to play well... I have 4500 or so games played, so usually you get good around 5000. :P Stepmania helps as well.

I can actually play challengeing and VC songs now, but it's not hard to pass anything in ffr because mashing is so simple, I passed OMW on the first day I played XD.
