Synth, I know I might come off as rude but I am just trying to express my opinions - Duk's files are really bad. Overstepped, off-sync and poor jumps, I doubt any pad file he will make will be worth playing. Could you clarify what rules I'm breaking? The only one that comes to mind would be flaming and that would be a stretch. If everyone is on Duk's bandwagon because he is good at pad and insulting his stepping ability makes me look bad, then so be it.

revolution, you are aware that it was konami that sued roxor and (to use your terminology) "killed" ITG, right?

even though they gained rights to use of all of roxor's games and income, ITG3 with charts by konami would just be a renamed version of DDR, rendering it terrible.

although his K8107 Heavy/Delirium stepfiles were pretty cool.

Yeah, I liked his Holy Orders and Delirium. Hopefully I will see better files besides the crappy ones Konami has.

I wish someone like dj Ren was hired, because I like all his files. I don't think he makes files anymore, but either way, congrats Duk.

Yes. Ren makes both amazing files and amazing music.

I'd also like to add, I don't really like Duk's files, either. Then again, most anyone that has been mentioned in this thread (including Duk) have released mostly keyboard files. DDR will be pad files, so you should probably be focusing your attention either on Duk's pad files or someone else who makes good pad files to have a valid point.

Also, KgZ wins when he says hard =/= good. Many of DDR's stepcharts are actually really amazing. They're just not ITG/PIU-hard. Sorry if all of DDR's songs don't cause you to have a heart attack, but they were more meant to have fun.

All in all, Duk is actually a really cool guy in person. He's come to the past two Rocky Mount tournaments (yes, all the way from CA to NC) and he gets along with literally everyone. So yeah, congrats to him.. and I wish him the best with his new job.

I am in no way jealous, and if you had actually read my posts you would know that. I'm not jealous or angry that he got the job, I just feel that he doesn't deserve it. His files are not good and he isn't a nice person. Also, I have a job. I work for a web design company, but now I'm just repeating myself.

Draigun I hope you are kidding. I was at last year's Rocky Mount and no, he did not get along with everyone.

Read what Draigun posted. DDR is not necessarily in "the pits of hell". There are a lot of fun easy files, like Love Shine, Hit N Slap, Centerfold, Speed Over Beethoven, Butterfly, and a lot more. I understand that if you really good at pad then these files will bore you and I guess you have a right to complain, but I would assume that the majority of DDR players have a lot of difficulty AAing 7 footers. Also, if you find all Konami's charts so bad, you will be disappointed if you think one new person making charts will have any drastic change.

Reviving ITG would involve finding and hiring all the Roxor step artists, which I doubt Konami would do.
