No. There is no such thing as "16th stream". Those are called "runs".

It's more of an SM and pad thing.

OK, nevermind.

Stream is 16ths in SM. Unless someone says '24th stream' or '8th stream', it is always 16ths.

No, I assure you stream is 8ths. 16ths are runs. And if you disagree, then what is a run?

Rofl. g4z33b0 has no clue what he's talking about. Don't listen to him. He's wrong about jumpstream, stream, and "runs". Get your terminology down.

First of all, there is no such thing as a run.

Seeing as this is a rhythm game, similar to SM, and stream is SM terminology for 8ths, and SM came out before FFR, I would say that the term is valid to use for FFR as well. The fact that someone from FFR redefined the term is irrelevant, you can call it what you want and I will call it what I want.

Oh and Sane, trust me I know what I'm talking about.

I use index for that, but in you're case; use spread.

k w/e gazeebo. stream is technically 8th notes for SM, because the "stream" rating you see in the corner in the song difficulty circle thingy only measures how many 8th note patterns there are. 16ths refers to the "chaos" rating, so you're technically right for SM. but it doesn't matter, because soooooo many people refer to chaos as stream that it doesn't really matter. to vast majority, stream is 16th notes, and it makes sense that way, anyway. anyway, in FFR, there's no question that stream is 16ths. it's always been that. okay done

normal stream is 16ths for KB and 8ths for pad

FFR is a KB game so we use stream to refer to 16ths.

also, it's FFR, not SM. We also define an AAA as max score, and not necessarily all perfects. It's a different game, so the terminology is used slightly differently.

start out on etude to a dragon, then work your way up to songs like {frozen} then maybe silence if you're ready (flat) and when you're really ready EHHS. by the way this isn't like a 1 week omg you're good type of thing. took me a long time to get to the silence level.

Thanks for those who gave advice. I don't think I'll switch to spread, I'm a much better index player. So I guess grinding out Etude it is!

No no no no, you switch to spread.
Spread > Index on most situations

In my opinion. I don't really know. I have tried index, that's hard for me lmao.
