Im a retired wow addict. Over the past 2 years ive cleared most of the end game content (BWL,Nax,AQ40,Kara,Gruul) with playtime reaching 307days played.
70-Hunter (farmer) 70-Pally (main) 70-Warlock (dueler) Quit for good about a month ago.

Your friend can be totally serious. All he has to do is stop paying and if he does that, he can quit. I stopped playing WoW for a while but I continued paying for my account and when I came back one month later, I found out I didn't have to spend very much time leveling a day because of all the rest XP.
