In case you haven't noticed, the important stuff are in ENGLISH!! Such as the "Free", "Option" ETC. All you need to know is to just use enter and delete for select and exit stuff. Plus it even tells the song names in english and the buttons for the options/change difficulty. And it's the best BM flash ever.

the cramped hand positioning was no fun. unless there's a way to change that. still wouldn't give it a second go >_>

If you're talking about the controller, yes, you can get it in some of your local electronic goods store (EB Games, etc.). You need to buy the controller as a bundle that comes with the beatmania game. I have yet to see US beatmania controllers being sold separately.
And I'm not sure on how well it would work on this flash game.

This is a good game, but it does not feel like beatmania, with the song already being played for you in the background

this is a great game with awesome quality too.. i cant run ffr good on my brothers computer but that i can play perfectly on high quality.. but it was wierd cuz it didnt tell u the buttons so i was trying to figure them out as i play lol. neways another thing thats cool is that u can choose to use 5 buttons instead of 7.. i thought that was cool cuz at the arcade i goto they have one of the old beatmania machines with the 5 keys and scratch on the right side.. the only thing that sucks about this flash is not enough song choices but other than that i thought it was good... an 8 out of 10

A big difference in Beatmania is the keysounds. I can imagine this would be a pain to do in flash and probably a framerate killer, but without it there really isn't much going for the game.

If you don't have the actual game but you want something very similar, download a beatmania simulator as well as the keysounds specific for each song.
