The reason they were expelled was because they did not tell any teachers/authorities about it.
The same thing happened when I was expelled from my school, all my friends knew about it but didn't tell anybody, therefore they got suspended for a week. Very stupid, I know, but that's how the adults want to run things. You'll just have to live with it until you yourself are an adult and want to oppress the children by making them live through what you have gone through. You just HAVE to have revenge! On another note, back to being banned now? |

A whole MySpace fiasco started at my school not too long ago. A student was browsing another student's page, and he had some rather offensive and unpleasant photos on it. Who walks by? None other than the assistant principal! From there on, the rule was: "Don't go on MySpace," with no consequence. That didn't work. The rule expanded to include Tagged and Bebo. Did anyone listen? No.
We blocked cookies so they couldn't log in. That worked. Until one kid figured it out, and told everybody. It lasted two days. Now, the rule is, if you go on MySpace, Tagged, or Bebo, you are banned from the lab for the semester, and you receive a three hour detention. Best of all, I get to throw those punishments out. Nobody has been on any of them since the rule was put in place.

Heh, the school I go to eliminated the threat before it began. It is banned, and the only way in is through the proxy. If you do that, you still can't get in the main site, and then the teacher comes up to you and you get chewed out because you used a proxy. If you are dumb enough to try again, you are completely eliminated from that class for the rest of your life.
I'm waiting for someone to be dumb enough to try again. |

Wtf? What could be on FFR that they could find a reason to block it?
I just go on there with headphones and teach is happy, I am behaiving. I think there is a website that is not blocked that says the proxy server code, and will let you around the firewall. Why the site that tells you how to get around the firewall is not blocked is beyond me... |

WTH? I think the fact that people cannot go on Myspace at school is stupid. I mean first off you shouldn't get suspended for viewing it even if you didn't tell. If you tell you will get your butt kicked by the kid who posted it and his friends. I am so glad to be in college...

Probably because I should be doing chapter 6 work but instead I'm posting about being banned for going on Myspace.
