Screw StepMania. If the world somehow gets fucked up enough to the point where I am responsible for the care of a child, I will teach them how to play mofuckin' IIDX.

Man, DDR/FFR/SM is all good games, and I really would like to see them play, but I would not force them to play if they do not want to.

I have a 4 year old and he plays Ultramix on the xbox with metal pads.
I must confess that he likes to play Guild Wars more though. He understands all the controls in Guild Wars except for the fact that he cannot read. I have to sit there and read for him while he is playing. Cheers, Synthlight |

What... My 4 yr old brother only knows how to play Dora the Explorar on the computer.. (Nick Junior)
Also Noggin and Pokemon on the gameboy. I don't think my parents even know what the hell DDR is.

Problem there, Kefit. Sure, you may have more fast-twitch muscle mass (for more speed) or a higher red blood cell count (thus improving endurance), and maybe even they'll have a wrist support designed for arrow players by then, but excellence in performance cannot be inherited, only learned. As I think I saw Nima say in a thread about AAAAing DDR Extreme, there are limits to how well it's possible for people to do. Given that he's probably at the frontlines of that battle to go beyond what anyone has ever done before, I suppose he's right. But at least we could finally have someone FC RunnyMorning or One Minute Waltz.

Read what I write.
I don't intend for my descendents to inherit any of my ability. I intend for them to evolve a greater natural ability. Granted, this will involve mass spawning and the sterilization of those who do not possess suitable muscular structure, but thus is the price we pay.

for them to evolve the ability, you'd have to kill off all your kids who don't have that ability >_>
thats the whole concept of evolution. Weak don't survive. So, now that you know, begin the mass mini-kefit slaughter!

I think we need a forum tutorial or something. I would be surprised if my kids didn't play DDR/SM. But even if they didn't, I'd be like, "ok, your loss" lol.

I wonder if people including me are still playing sm several years later.
Maybe I'll have no chance to expose my kid to sm, unless he finds it accidentally. |
