Put it this way, eh?

Definitions

Newb: A person, as of being new in nature, but seems to show early effects of intelligence and thought-sparks lasting longer than that of the average gnat.

N00b: Complete ignoramus, either because they refuse to respect authority to some degree, believe they are better than anyone else (see Poser) and thus denounces Veterans in arguments to further their "popularity" without rightful cause.

Veteran: Member around longer (not always a prerequisit), usually with respect and honor trailing hand in hand. A sense of dignity, perhaps.

(Generally not used terms)

Neo-Vet: Generation of people generated after the veteran's era, but still more competent than n00bs and more respected than outright newbs.

Why am I going on? I really don't know.

EVILBEAN's are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better

cause I'm a vet and I have no respect for anyone here at all

I think that more makes you an ass, than it makes my definitions incorrect, eh? And I never said vets had to treat people with respect, they are respected by other members.

I think he has the basic idea though Yanah. I think you fit in the Neo-Vet category. You dont respect anyone, and the only reason they respect you at all is because you have been around a little and have posts behind your name.

I've had a few years experience, but like I said before, every board is different in how they perceive their generations.

Eh, I'm doing all right. Getting better through practice. That whole bit. I seem to have taken a liking to CellDweller's Stay With Me (Unlikely), err, at least I think that's it. I'm pretty average right now, but I'm trying a bit. All it takes is practice, eh?

Just keep at it. Work hard, and when you feel you have one, try to move to another in the same skill level. Master them all, and then move up.
