It's a standard. It can do whatever it wants. And the hybrid has incredible pick up, in not only loads on the gas when you want it to (standard) but it gets a huge boost from the batteries. It maxes out at 185, but it has really good pickup at low speeds.
And more people did get hurt. Guy sideswiped three cars to get away from me. |

That Guy = Uber Gay. I remember this one time my father was coming home from work and there was this huge cement truck and it wouldn't move. It was doing a job. So he was forced to go around it to go home. Needless to say there weren't any traffic directors and when he went to go around it, a red pickup smashed into his front. No one was hurt because my dad like backed up really fast to prevent all damage and the other guy braked. The construction guys got fired though.
Why do hybrids cost so much?

I still find 0-62mph in 4 seconds an extreme exageration... *goes to do research*
9.6 11.3 10.6 11.0 need I go on? Not exactly all near each other... but the low is still well over 9 seconds for 0-60. My 02 Sentra SE-R only does 0-60 in 8 seconds... 2006 porshe boxster caymen's are only 5.1-5.4... so, yea...
