Umm...BACK TO THE SONG.

I wasn't really expecting a long DM Ashura mix to become the Song the Week, but I liked the song.
The steps were excellent. They had a very nice flow to it and didn't feel awkward to play. The used BG was also nice.
While I didn't like the trills much, I felt they fit into the song and made good transition patterns to various parts of the song.

Great job.

Snapps50: Hah I really laughed at this one

After I played the song, literally the first thing I thought was, "This is the song of the year." Now its a sticky. Anyways, good song but the 2nd and third set of trills kinda threw me off.

It should have been at the end of secret, not hiding in the middle. It took me a minute to find it :b
Plus... 2709?! 4 million + scores?! Craziness. A song this long should make for great multi competition.

Trills suck.

Also, notes from Dee Em himself from back when he first made this:

0:25 - Max300
1:04 - Max300 + Legend of Max (although I used the Max300 synth)
1:17 - Trip Machine
1:42 - Healing Vision + MaxX Unlimited
2:08 - Afronova
2:33 - B4U + Max300
2:59 - Sakura
3:24 - MaxX Unlimited
3:50 - Paranoia
4:16 - Drop Out + Max300
4:41 - Max300 + MaxX Unlimited
5:07 - MaxX Unlimited + Legend of Max

I liked it. The song was good. The steps weren't OMGWTFANTASTIC, but they were good. It's nice to see a marathon song on FFR.

You know what? I never noticed this before, but in the Healing Vision part, there's a couple "windows error message" tones. Odd... it's in the original too, I think.

Love the steps when the level isn't between songs...GP apparently thought it would be a good idea to put in two-handed 8th runs that are as long as hell. I can actually hit the 24242424 or 86868686 stuff better than, say, 26262626. My guess is this was to give indexers some love, but as a 4-fingered player, it drives me nuts. My best combo so far is barely 250, but at least I'm somehow able to keep my misses under 100. Now if only my POS home computer doesn't make the steps trail the music to the point that it gets a full beat behind only halfway through Dot Death.
