Yea same here. I started one hand for like a year with ddr stuff three or so years ago. I met my potential quickly and decided one handed was to hard. I didnt even know there was other styles at the time so i thought playing index was original.

I didn't start getting "decent" until I joined smo and I found out the SM community was more than just nima omegix and reach.

Also one day at ddr I met a kid who immediatly told me one handers are fags and I should switch to index...me thinking I was the best local player with my B's on max300 challenged this guy who proceeded to almost AAA oml heavy on index...thank you ryan if it wasn't for you I would still be playing one hand :P

p.s. izzy was my favorite player when I first joined smo

StepMania was released in like, 2001. StepMania 3.0, the first release worth playing, was released in 2003.
