Ha! He refuses to touch the cat box. That's a big part of why we got it--he refuses to scoop it every day when I'm gone, and if it's not cleaned daily the cats will refuse to use it and start using other things, like my pillow.
In any case, I did it. I sprayed a ridiculous amount of air freshener, held my breath, and triple-bagged everything. Now I'm looking it up online to see if it's a toxic mold and I should go to the hospital ![]()

Were you are mesmerized by the mold as you were by the automatic cleaning?
Maybe you should clean it as often as you did the old litterbox, just so you don't have to encounter another life-form in there....
