Apparently it's Daylight Saving Time (no second 's' in Saving).

And as for Indiana...wouldn't it make more sense to abolish DST in the rest of the country? Seriously, nobody likes having the change the clocks 2 a year every year. It's annoying.

Let's also abolish Leap Years while we're at it.
I'm probably going to go skating today because I haven't gone skating since last friday.

You can't abolish the leap year because then my best friend will never have another birthday ever again.

I watched my compy clock go back an hour. It was kinda cool, yet kinda dumb at the same time.
I was trying to do a paper, which I should be doing now, but am not, and just started surfing, remembered DST, and started watchin the clock at 1:57 I think it was... |

Setting the clocks back gives you another hour, not takes one away. PS I slept through it like all the kewl kids.

Exactly, Afro. I lost the pin to my watch because it's eight years old, so I can't set it back. Since I had to be in Dallas for five o'clock mass and it was three thirty, I had to bail right then to make the hour and a half drive. When I got here, nobody was at the church, so I realized that I hadn't changed my car clock and my watch clock also read 5:00 when it was actually four.
And I've never subscribed to this "I get an extra hour of sleep" business. THE NIGHT IS JUST AS LONG AS IT WAS BEFORE. I know where they're coming from, but it's just stupid. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Oh no I missed it, I never knew the computer automatically set it self back an hour. I thought you had to do it manually. Why at 2 a.m.?

But DST contributed, since if I'd remembered I could have stayed in bed an extra hour. |

Oh, I also recently found out that Europeans also practice DST. We're NOT the only idiots of the world!

I don't know why you bitches whine about DST. It's a great idea. Why have the sun come up at 6 in the morning and go down an hour earlier in the summer? It doesn't make sense to have the hour of daylight that early in the morning. But I guess if you have sand in your vagina........

I got up an hour early and was like, wtf, it's not supposed to be light out at 6am! I actually came to school NOT in a rush.

Great idea my ass. It was created as a joke to get people to work longer. It just cheats the day and makes things confusing for no good reason. Why can't you poons just take the days as they come. The Alaskans don't change the clocks to have month long days.
I don't even know when the sun should come up or go down or how it originally was because I don't care. The sun comes up when it comes up, whether it's at nine AM or three thirty AM. There's NO need to make everyone change their clocks. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

Changing your clocks is easier than changing your sleeping schedule so you get up an hour earlier during the summer.
Well, for me it is.

The time thing is for the summer. Without it, the sun would rise while we're all asleep. With it, the sun rises as we should be getting up and thus, gives us an extra hour of daylight (hence the name Daylight Savings).
