and chromer, you're an idiot for thinking you could come remotely close to passing deathmoon edit considering myself, omegix, falc, tsutter, white_boy, and others can't even pass it.

(dunno about omegix, he might be able to now)

I got to like the end of the last stream (16/24th part) but I still failed, this was back when I was good. I can hardly get past the first stream now I think.

Its amazing how easy you can mash through the first stream (32nds i think), but how totally impossible it is to mash the mixed 32/64th part.

OMG Wow, you guys are really a bunch of stuck up assholes. I might not be able to do it or I might just be able to. I don't know yet. But that doesn't give you guys the right to start looking down on someone just because they aren't as good as you.

CHROMER, these people are crazy pros at SM, if some of them can't pass a n00b like you obviously can't. Sure you can mash, but I believe I've played it once and on some parts mashing won't work. Go ahead and try, I don't care, but you won't pass.

You really think you're a smartass for thinking: OMG, I'm gonna mash this shit as hard as I can and then I MUST pass ??

Jezus, like hundreds of people have tried it before, people that are, according to your other brags, way better than you.

It's like saying: Haha, I'm gonna break the new world record 100 m sprint tomorrow, because I go for a jog now and then, and I'll just run really fast and beat it.

If you're going to try to be a known player as you said in your original post, make sure you know more about the people who play the game.

To think you'd pass Death Moon when people FAR better than you have already tried, it's just absurd. I'm not talking about average people, I'm talking about people such as Laggy, Hayden, etc.

You also talked as if Nima might not be able to pass it all the time, it doesn't mean you can't pass it. You abviously have no idea just how good Nima is, likewise bringing me back to my first statement.

God damn Chromer must be an idiot. I understand what he's trying to say, but that's like telling someone who first started playing DDR to do max300. There is no way they could pass it, just like there is no way you can pass Death Moon edit.

SM is full of so much elitism XD

Death moon is garbage anyway. At least if you want to talk about a hard stepfile, talk about Identity 2 or something where the notes are actually in the right time, thanks(well, most of it is).

Chromer, I don't think everyone is just trying to put you down because you may not be as good as them. They're just trying to tell you to be half realistic, because what you're hoping to do comes off as pretty moronic to any player who knows a decent amount about hard files.

I know you're trying to gain more respect here (for whatever reason), but sorry, this just looks like something a really inexperienced player would be saying.

Not if it was on Beginner.
Exactly how hard is this NVLM Death Moon I'm hearing about?
I say, if he's capable of those scores that he posted at the
start of the thread, then he just might have a chance.
As Virgil once said
"They are able because they think they are able."

Edit: Fuck you Matt for posting that
bigass picture and forcing me to
hard-return instead of wordwrap.

Not if it was on Beginner. And why isn't anyone giving this guy the benefit of the doubt? I believe he can do it, albeit it might possibly be a fluke. (Remind me how well he did on the run in question again?) Myself, I'm not going to embarrass myself by trying. <_<
We're obviously talking about passing Max300 HEAVY as a first time DDR player, that was pretty much assumed.

And no offense, but if you saw this guy's other scores and then played the real Death Moon edit, you wouldn't be giving him the benefit of the doubt. There's absolutely no real reason for us to believe that he could do this, even if he just tried really really really really hard!
