I've noticed that one letter responces or shortened versions of words annoy the people here. Truthfully, they annoy me too, but I've been in enough chats to not worry about them.

Depending on the colors of text, yes it can hurt your eyes. I didn't like the first post because the color stood out much more than the background, making it hard for my eyes to focus ont he writing. In addition, it being a tint of the background also made it hard to focus, almost making me strain to read it. The other thing I noticed was how big it was. Bigger isn't always better. It just means more scroll and more moving your eyes around the screen to read the giant letters.

Anyway, Welcome to the Boards. And remember, it isn't what other people like, it's what feels comfortable to you.

I'm really sorry to all that have read this column or what ever you call it...
i feel ashamed that i acted the way i did and you won't have any more "problems" with me...i hope that all my other posts will not be like the last couple...and that i might not be posting/having an account on here...i'm really a nice person if you get to know me...but where i come from we struggle to have individuality...and that might sound formilar... if n e 1 would like to get to know me plz reply as quickly as you can for i might not be a member of this site n e more...
