It's a tie between 24 and Smallville.

Both are INSANELY good. 24 has been amazing every season (1-4). Smallville has gone from good (season 1), to great (2), to amazing (3), and now it's still at amazing (4).

Runner-up: The OC... I love this show as well. It's awesome. It's very close to being tied with the above two.

The ONLY TV I watch right now is Smallville, and yes, it rules.

I don't know if it's still on, but Rough Science was about the coolest show I've ever seen. I mean, Junkyard Wars was totally sweet, but this is even better. It was on either TLC or the Science Channel, more likely the latter.

Damn. I used to watch Smallville like religiously, but I've forgotten to the last couple of weeks. I suppose I will this week.

I really don't watch much TV anymore though. It's either VH1 in the morning while getting dressed, or Adult Swim that I recorded from the night before. Once in a while I'll catch That 70s Show, Simpsons, and Malcolm in the Middle in syndication, though.

PS what have I missed in the last 4 or so episodes of Smallville? Anything important?

Really? Wow, I guess I lucked out then. Thanks.

EDIT: Who's Line is it Anyway? is a great show, but it is not "new." I'm sure that it has been canceled for over a year. Also the concept for the show wasn't new either; the American show is based on a British show by the same name that aired in the early 90s I think.

EDIT*2: Family Guy's been cancelled for even longer, but since it's coming back, I'll forgive you for listing it as new.

My favorite is CSI: Miami.

My second favorite would probably have to be 2 and a half men. Both are on only on Mondays, and they are consecutive shows.

My favorite sitcom of all time is definitely Seinfeld. That show is hilarious, plus it has Kramer, which makes it the even better...

Really? I personally like SURVIVOR for a reality show, SNL for a comedy show, for anime, InuYasha or Sailor Moon, and for cartoon, The Weekenders, Rocko's Modern Life, and InuYasha.

@ afrobean: yes, whose line has been canceled for a while, and it was taken from a british show, and just americanized (much like survivor and american idol, i believe), but they actually are showing never-before-seen episodes (they call them new but i'm not sure if they're just new or never before seen) on mondays at 8 and 9.

my favorites (in a somewhat particular (but not completely accurate) list):
Arrested Development (if you're a nielson family, please watch this show. extremely smart and funny, and original...i don't want to see it canceled so soon)
The simpsons
Seinfeld
world series of poker (if that counts...if i got any other channels that showed poker regularly they would be up there as well (such as celebrity poker)).
Family Guy
Animaniacs (is this shown at all anymore? anyone know?)
the ORIGINAL teenage mutant ninja turtles
Sportscenter (i don't get ESPN anymore <frown>)
Malcolm in the Middle
SNL (not near as good as it used to be)
pretty much all of adult swim (ATHF, SL2021, brak show, SGCTC, futurama, etc...
the cosby show

EDIT: the 'new' whose lines are at 8 and 9 on ABC Family

I managed to see about half an hour of television while at my cousin's house for christmas.

I found one show that could be potentially awesome.

Mythbusters.

I hate Fox and their "hey let's cancel EVERYTHING GOOD." Also, my friend is friends with Alia Shawkat's (Maeby) brother.
