Weird things you do/habits with food.

I don't bite any type of noodle. I just swallow it. Like soup and mac & cheese, etc. Biting noodles is bad luck.

When I order a cuban from the deli, I request that they don't put pickles on it but rather put pickle juice on the bun and then condiments with a nice flat press n_n

People have told me they thought that was weird :V

when eating noodles, I have a tendency to eat the majority of the meat/veggies before anything else—I tend to let my noodles soak up the soup a little. on that note, when I eat pho, I always squeeze every lime they serve into the soup.

if I ever chew gum, I always grab the pieces from the back of the package (the side without the notch or peel off thingy).

I eat fried chicken and wings with chopsticks.

I almost always put fish sauce on my white rice.

I eat oreos whole without milk. fuck twisting and dunking it.

I put pickles and ketchup on my hot dog and nothing else.

I shave off little pieces of almonds with my teeth.

I lick all of the flavour off of any chip and get it all soggy before I eat it.

I eat hamburgers with the top bun upside down.

When I eat wings I am a master and I can eat very sloppy wings with only my Thumb and Pointer Finger on my right hand without letting the wings touch any other finger.

I like to swish carbonated drinks around in my mouth to get rid of the carbonation before I swallow it.

I also let any frozen drinks melt in my mouth before I swallow it.

I also eat the cartilage from chicken bones… Its sooooo good xD

I am really fucking weird when it comes to consuming food, as I actually really hate eating, I would much rather have a drink (Soylent) that will sustain me.

When I initially eat string cheese, I'll try to make the skinniest possible strings. At some point I realize it's going to take me days to eat the damn thing at that rate, so my strings become progressively thicker and thicker.

I don't care for hard candy, but if that's the only thing available, I don't mind it. However, I have little patience for just sucking on it and eventually letting it dissolve. So I just bite the darn thing. This includes candy canes (which I start by taking a huge bite into the "hook" part)

This was more so when I was younger, but if I have multiple things on my plate to eat, I'll usually finish one thing before moving on to the next thing. My parents "corrected" this behavior (which they didn't like) so I don't do it as often (at least not-intentionally), but I still do it accidentally from time to time.

I eat the heads off animal crackers before eating the rest of the animal cracker.

For any candy thing with a juicy center thingy, I like to bite exactly half of it, suck out the juicy center, and then eat the other half. Also, if I'm not eating them quickly, I like to eat skittles one half at a time.

I eat Cheetos with chopsticks (no dust!)

I like my OJ with ice (supposedly a lot of people I know think this is weird?)

I used to eat twix normally; then I saw a girl in a hospital eat a twix by eating the caramel off first (it was from a refrigerated vending machine so the caramel and chocolate were solid). I now occasionally eat the caramel first and just eat the cookie twix; that cookie twix is one hell of a cookie btw.

Habits with food... whenever I make food I tend to lose my appetite; I eat far less when I make food then when I'm just eating (has to be a long process of cooking and not just throwing leftovers in a microwave).

This also might not be weird; I'll let you guys decide I guess. I eat corn 1 row of kernels at a time; by using my jaw/bottom teeth as a knife/leveraging them out 1 row at a time and then chewing the whole row of about 15-25 kernels (depending on size of corn). This isn't so much weird as much as I find it semi efficient since all the process of chewing is done with my molars so I rarely get corn stuck in my teeth. This works better with harder corn btw (though really soft corn can still be done with a little bit of effort).

Anything that contains bits of tomato like Chicken Sofrito I won't eat, but I'll eat a raw tomato.

Texture means everything to me. I'll send it back if there is anything "slimy" tasting in whatever I am eating.

I'm a bitch when it comes to food but I've been getting a lot better lately with trying new things and whatnot. If you asked me this question 3-4 years ago, I'd have a laundry list for you.

When I'm eating any kind of sandwich (burgers included), I usually bite all the edges around in a circle before I get to the center of the sandwich. Also I actually like putting mustard on my burgers (I know there's places that do this, but Long Island is definitely not one of those places. Everyone here thinks it's weird).

To this day I still hate it when different foods are touching. Never managed to outgrow it.

I do this. I always start with the main dish, move on to the sides, and only after I finish all of my food will I have any of my drink. Even if it's spicy food I refuse to have a drink until all the food is finished.

@Gameboy, I'm pretty similar when it comes to burgers/sandwiches. Except, I eat them upside down, like I'll hold it upside down and bite weirdly into it but it's just how I do it so I don't lose any condiments.
