i can tell you this much right now, whenever my little pony friendship is magic came out, it swept across the internet like wildfire. despite the demographic being intended for little girls (probably debatable), it found its way to a lot of males aged 13-35. even here on ffr there's team pony, and there was a my little pony friendship is magic thread that gained like 200k views or something; it was dedicated to appreciation and discussion of the show. you're far from being the only person interested in the show. i like the show and i'm a 22 year old male, it's not something i bring up to everyone i meet; personally because i don't like to be considered a brony. i like the show, i won't try to convince anyone to watch it if they don't seem interested, and that's generally a good way to approach anything. like you won't ever be able to get me to like country music for example. anyways i hope this post helps.
