I've experienced something similar in a few ways to that.
Edit: Removed the personal part because no one cares. ... Anyway, point is, although some parts are similar, it doesn't look like that was the case here, because your friend was being pushy about trying to get you to leave. But there has to be something more there in the disconnect between being excited to see you and then pushing you out the door. It's always good to talk things through first.
