I remember posting on my sister's account back in mid-2007 (around 6 months before getting my own account) about something regarding the site-wide server crash FFR experienced. This is when Tass and Synth were sill pretty active in the community. I'm kind surprised I remember the reason why the servers fried: somebody sent out a challenge to another user and forgot to input a name, and the game ended up sending a challenge to everybody on the site, overloading the servers and causing general mayhem. I *think* that thread has been preserved in the Legendary Thread sub-forum, in fact.

Good times.

Wasn't that the thread where Synth played along with whoever did it and said something along the lines that FFR is forever gone because of that person?

Yeah, that was my fault lmao. I don't remember why I decided that would be funny, but fortunately danceguy and others played along.

My first post was 11 years ago, jesus christ. I was pissed that I had negative credits and couldn't play any songs. Tass called me a noob and said I had to create a new account. Tps22 then became Tps222. Stuck ever since.

edit: damn that thread reminds me how awesome Mead is. I gotta get that guy back on here.

Devonin's first post:

Pearl Harbour was as much done to slow down the ability of the US to respond to their attacks against the dutch and china as it was anything to do with the European theatre of war at all.

The only reason Japan and the United States weren't already at war at this time, was that Japan and China were careful never to actually declare war on one another, lest the UN and by extension, the US, UK, and France declare war as well.

By any reasonable standard, Pearl Harbour was a government controlled deliberate military strike on military assets as a first strike prelude to war, and not a "terrorist" activity.

Proof that Tasselfoot was a genius who would have carried this site to fame and glory if he'd been allowed to take over everything:

From a thread on what the FFR shop should sell:

or an FFR Hat that had "Air" on it and an arrows towards one's head.

how about a T-Shirt with "Evil Approaches" on it. that'd be kinda spooky. or a T-Shirt with "Get Down" on it, with an arrow pointing towards one's crotch.

and the ABSOLUTE winner.... FFR thong with "Too Tight" across the front. the back would also work, but then it wouldn't be a thong.

First post was complaining about people faking scores in the video section. (playing slow and speeding it up.) back in 06 (I was 14)

Tons of cringe-worthy crap posts (I actually went back and deleted a lot of irrelevant stuff at one point) but the first one relevant to now was probably:

First off, I would like to agree with that. The products on the music market are mostly shit (Don't flame, opinions are opinions.) now-a-days, and pricing it $39.99 USD a CD is outrageous, I wouldn't even pay $10 USD for it. Seriously.

They enjoy the support from the media, so why don't they enjoy the Pirating just as much..? I'm sure there are some nice bands out there that wouldn't have made it quite as far if they hadn't had their discs pirated. So in a way the piracy is actually giving them MORE money in the end because their music reaches more ears, and thus they get more profit from the people who actually want to buy it.

Band A: Not Pirated, earns 4 Million a year on records alone
Band B: Pirated, but more people have heard of them, and is making 25 Million a year through records because of that.

(I might've blown that out of proportion, but bear with it, the effects are roughly the same)
well fuck. I feel shame. Where I got those numbers...I have no clue.

I found a thread where I argue with prepubescent korny. Cringing so hard right now.
