welcome to the club of ath-m50 users :') i think you'll find you've made a good decision.
couple it with a sound interface and or built-in audio card of higher quality and high quality audio (flac is my prefered format) and you'll have a great time discovering and re-discovering audio. |

It's super V-shaped so the overpowering bass bleeds into the mids, making the mids virtually non-existent.
You can EQ stuff, but EQing can only go so far. I wouldn't say it's bad in general and in fact I would say it's preferred on some occasions because of its fun sound (HD25-1 ii :'D). It's just in this case, it's not the good kind. |
