From the other topic on ZIV the impression I got was:
- they are not his own files but files he has collected from various places (including official steps)
- these are the charts he considers the best ever made for Stepmania
- he is also trying to find high-quality videos for each song because he thinks that is an integral part of a good file

I think the big black guy as seen in the Arcade Infinity videos is Keith Plair. He isn't me, and I can only wonder how many big dance game fans I was in the same place with.

I'm pretty sure the community as a whole has realized it's not good to do this and generally does not do it

I think it has to do more with this guy's history and the fact that it's called the "greatest"

You probably just didn't read the topic at Zenius-i-vanisher.

If i remember correctly
- He said the pack will be hundreds of files (exaggerating much?)
- He told every file will have a high-quality anime music video (?) while he put terrible quality videos there on purpose (obvious sign of trolling)
- He asked people to ship him their hard drives to receive the pack (no one should have any doubts after this)
- Someone pointed that some of the files were stolen from somewhere (im not 100% on this one)

Long story short, this whole pack was a joke and a troll from the beginning. Thus, it's not very surprising that the comments and responses he got are also trolling.

edit. And the fact that most of the downloads link to a rapidshare page telling that download has been forbidden by the uploader.

What exactly -did- you create for this pack, the custom videos? If so, there's still stolen content

Looking at your YT channel:
- HIGHER has stolen steps straight from the original Heavy chart.
- Make It Better (from Nonstop Megamix) should be Make It Better (So-REAL Mix).
- Just from looking at the thumbnail for Can't Stop Falling In Love (Speed Mix), the steps are stolen from the original heavy chart -- actually watching the video confirms this.
- If your Greatest of SM pack is supposed to emulate original DDR charts with your own creations, Dam Dariram is absolutely terrible (and would be for just about any pad charting standard).
- Broken My Heart looked really good at first glance, really flowing and somewhat more professionally done (in DDR terms) compared to the other charts... until I looked up the original chart and found out that your version is 100% identical to the official Heavy chart.
- There are two Captain Jack (Grandales) in your YT channel -- the first chart is very rigid, very inconsistent, and doesn't really represent the song well, neither DDR wise or otherwise; the second one is the official Heavy chart.
- Young Forever is an original chart to my knowledge, but the original DDR heavy chart is more conservative, fitting for the song, and way better in terms of step rhetoric.
- Boom Boom Dollar (K.O.G. G3 Mix) is stolen from the original heavy chart.

Honestly, I can't do anymore of this. You need to make your own content.

even if this is just a compilation of what YOU believe is the greatest of stepmania, very few people, if any, agree with your choices, so nobody is going to care about this project of yours

if your project had any merit, you would no doubt have gotten credit for it, but there is nothing here that is good enough to warrant someone to go through your entire songlist, and your poor representation of the game irritates most of the community
