Game Informer is a horrible magazine.

It attempts to cover up its incompetence with humor, yet fails horribly.

Review my post "Esqueek" they charged each other alot of money to each other and those games suck ass except crazy taxy but thats not the point
is that even if they team up they make crappy games but if you think that nintendo and sega are good it just comes down to your "taste" in games

On a different subject if EA games made a racing game with the graphics of pandora tomorrow (brilliant game) it would be awsome.

Sonic and Super Monkey do not "suck ass" (you said all the other games besides crazy taxi did). What are your reasons? Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2 are excellent games and so are the Sonic games. Super Monkey Ball is so much fun to play. It is one of my favorite games for the GC. I also like playing Sonic, but I like SMB 1 and 2 better.

XBox is going to try and rush out thier next console so they can be "the best". I predict nintendo (who have been ahead of the game since they came to america in 1985, as well as before then) will have the best of the three systems when weighed all around. Xbox might as well be a computer, oh wait, it IS. I have nothing against PS2 or PS3, i havn't heard anything the 3, although i do hate the GTA kids *growls*.

Monkey ball suvked so much ass. its just a game about a monkey passing 3d mases the storyline is stupid and it involves monkeys. How old are you 5?
That is an easy make game i can probably make it in PHP.(programming language)

lv11 do not insult Super Monkey Ball 1/2...man if Squeek were here he would be very mad at this...haha. The game does not suck. What do you have against monkeys. And its not all mazes. There are party games, too that are really cool. And I suggest next time you want to diss a game at least spell correctly..."suvked" "mases". Super Monkey Ball owns it is just not very recognized but it still a good game.

Without taking a stand, screenshots mean jack shit. Seriously. All a screenshot can do is show off pretty graphics. I mean, Doom III has freaking incredible graphics, but I totally expected every gaming mag to say something along the lines of "well, the graphics are awesome, but the gameplay just isn't up to par." (Boy, was I wrong). Anyway, you can't show someone great gameplay (which is what really matters), they have to see it for themselves.

And god, do I sound like Morpheus.

Look the ballons ripp off of a mario kart secondly megaman was created by nintendo but bass was creaated by supporting companies that helped in the making of magaman. Three the only reason i cap on nintendo is cuz nintendo 64 kicked ass and gamecube was a collossal waste of money damn even my mom wa son the right track she told me to get an xbox or ps2 she was smart i got the ps2 but the xbox im working on it and esqueek sont take it personally but if you dig games like monkey ball i think you are still atached to chcildish games next thing you know you also like games like hatcher and the giant egg and games like that. Perssonally im more of a smash fan and FP shooters. So just chill 8)

So? First of all, Super Monkey Ball is not a 'childish' game. Ever played it? I doubt it. Well let me tell you, it's hard as hell. I said before (maybe some other stupid video game thread) that it didn't make any sense why people LOVED the N64 and bitterly hated the GCN. It's the same company producing the games with most of the same developers. The main difference is in RAREware going to Microsoft. That's basically it. I mean, we've got a Mario Golf, a Mario Tennis, 2 Mario Party games, a Mario adventure, a Fox adventure, a Metroid adventure, and 2 Zelda adventures. IT'S THE SAME FRIGGIN THING. The only difference is that Nintendo likes to be ORIGINAL in their sequels.

Most people hated the new Starfox game because there wasn't any flying in it. But you know, if you actually played the game, you'd see that there was at least some flying, including the final boss.

Most people hated the new Mario game because Mario had a water pack. HOLY CRAP. Ratchet has a robot on his back. What's the difference? The new water pack makes for innovative gameplay.

Most people loved the new Metroid game. I got nothing to say about that; the game was very awesome.

Most people hated the first of the new Zelda games. Sure, it was Cel-Shaded. That's no big deal compared to the extremely better gameplay that ensued because of the new look. I would agree with some that it is more fun than Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask (another underrated game).

Most people hated Super Monkey Ball because they never played it. If you don't have a gamecube and you don't have any friends, it's 100% likely that you've never playing SMB or SMB2 since it is lesser known than most new games. They don't even feature it at Wal-Mart or Best Buy. But let me reassure you, it is among the most challenging and fun games of all time. I still haven't even beaten one level in Super Monkey Ball 2 and I haven't even TRIED to beat Expert in the first one (For those who have SMB2, the level I am referring to is "Helix" in Extra Master. I got the warp before it so I could still finish the game but never actually beat the level. I honestly don't see how I can).

Look. There's nothing wrong with Gamecube and you know it. Your bias towards the system is clouding your judgement of how good it is. It releases FUN and INNOVATIVE games which would be lost on some graphically, but become classics for others for gameplay.

The next Nintendo console should correct your judgement towards the company. Especially with its 512mb video card.
