Re: Presidential Debates
Personally, I feel like both arguments weren't ideally what would "fix" the economy, but I would say Obama won this one. Romney was being really defensive and interrupting most of the time. I didn't actually watch the whole thing, but a lot of both of their points have indirect consequences to them. In the end, neither one of them will be able to really deliver on what they said.

Re: Presidential Debates
romney: "I want to repeal everything but refuse to answer what I'd do myself. Hop in the black van."
obama: "I've done a lot of things but the recession takes forever to fix. Hope hope hope" it was pretty boring and the moderator was awful :/

Re: Presidential Debates
Jim Lehrer was so distracting the entire debate. It really pissed me off - but can anyone really say they were surprised with the results of the debate? Romney has had months to prepare for this debate (ever since he clinched the republican nomination) whereas Obama has had very little time to prepare. I just wish that Romney was more detailed with his policies and his stances on how he would fix the economy, tackle healthcare etc. (as opposed to merely attacking the president's record all night).
By the way, you KNOW that when Obama fails to mention Romney's "47% comments" in the first debate, the democrats have something up their sleeves. Last edited by Abstract Art; 10-3-2012 at 10:40 PM.. |

Re: Presidential Debates
It's more like the percentage of undecided voters is not enough to oust Obama's lead, or so I've heard.
